Hear Our Cry Obama? Deliver Us Obama?

These incredibly misdirected people are idiotically praying to their golden calf, their lord Barack Obama. Many of the Christians that I know who voted for President Obama would deny that they worship him and perhaps they don't. But the stupid fools in this video-- well, what else can you call this?

Transcript:

We are here for the healing of the Nation. Like the prophet Jeremiah we cry out...Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician?" Why then has the health of our people not been restored?

Hear our cry Obama

With the prophet Martin Luther King, Jr. we cry out against all the forms of inequality and injustice and health care is the most shocking and inhumane...

Hear our cry Obama

From heath care systems and industry that place profits over people...

Deliver us Obama

From lobbying efforts that block access to quality health care for all...

Deliver us Obama

From greed and fear that replace God's abundance and power of community with a mix of scarcity and isolation....

Deliver us Obama

From state ??? of immigrants, from blaming the poor, from sinful attitudes that deem health care as a right and a privilege rather than a basic human right...

Deliver us Obama

Protect all those who face illness without good heath insurance...."

This is wrong on so many levels. But the part about Obama delivering them from "fears that replace God's abundance"betrays the hypocrisy of environmentalism. Well isn't that what the whole green movement is about? It seems liberals believe that God only has abundance when it suits their issue and he lacks abundance when it doesn't. God is abundant enough to give health care to all inhabitants of this land legal or illegal without raising taxes or cutting medicaid but God doesn't have enough abundance to replenish the Earth that He created...only humans can do that through cap and trade (tax).

The liberal mind is utterly twisted and sick. Black Christians are equally twisted and sick -- because too many professing followers of Christ have thrown the Lord Jesus Christ under a bus trusting and believing that Barack Obama will "hear your cry and deliver you". Even if you don't believe that you still threw Christ under a bus it you voted for a candidate who stands in direct, undeniable, unquestionable opposition to those things you are called to uphold as a follower of Christ.

I'm not saying Barack Obama is the Anti-Christ, but he sure does have that "spirit" and so do the stupid fools praying to him in the video.

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."1 John 4:1-3

I grow so weary of the same arguments over and over. But the truth can't be repeated enough. Hopefully, the soundness of the arguments put forth by these great men will inspire someone to leave the psychological plantation and embrace freedom.

Questions The Lapdog Media Should Ask President Obama But Don't Because They Are Too Busy Humping His Leg

The left blogosphere refers to Fox News as Faux News, and the Un-news channel. Here are some of the articles written about Fox and Fox viewers:

Uninformed Glen[n] Beck and Fox News viewers not courageous or smart enough to hold them accountable.

Beck Wants Americans To Stay Uniformed, Unengaged, Fat and Lazy

Considering how critical, cynical and self-aggrandized these people are, it defies all reason that after watching President Obama's media blitz on Sunday none of these highly informed individuals would give pause and ask -- Why did they all ask him the same questions? Why was he only slightly challenged in one interview? Did they learn anything that they didn't already know about healthcare reform. President Obama didn't bother to grant Fox an interview-- actually he said last Thursday that “I will not waste time with those who have made the calculation that it’s better politics to kill this plan than improve it”. But aside for the pettiness, his decision to snub "Fox News Sunday", wasn't very wise considering that a Sept. 16th comparision of cable news viewership yielded this result:

FOX News – 1,548,000 viewers

CNN – 563,000 viewers

MSNBC –421,000 viewers

CNBC – 212,000 viewers

HLN – 336,000 viewers

(Source)

If President Obama's goal is to get the truth out about his healthcare reform plan, then why not contend for and defend the plan that you believe is best for all Americans. Perhaps he knows it's not best for all Americans and just the Americans he cares about, or perhaps he doesn't care who it's best for as long as he brings forth his agenda--dare I say hidden agenda.

On Glenn Beck's show yesterday, he asked the questions that the Lapdog media should have asked but didn't and then showed previous clips of President Obama telling us how he really feels in his own words.

President Obama are you a proponent of single payer universal healthcare plan? If so, are you slow walking it by using the public option? In other words Mr. President are merely laying the foundation for single payer universal healthcare in the future? Is the ultimate goal to do away with private insurance altogether?

Mr. President are you more concerned about the will of the American people, 46% of whom are happy with their insurance or is it more important to you to do the biddings of George Soros and the groups he funds like the Tide Alliance, ACORN,and SEIU? Mr. President what is the probability of the Democrats using the "Nuclear Option" to get this bill passed in the House? Do you support that? Mr. President why do you associate yourself with people who hold such radical points of view?

Mr. President you have been quite critical of former President Bush and not without reason, yet you have maintained and in some instances expanded the very policies you criticized -- Why? You have appointed radical, marxist, revolutionary and even criminal individuals to key positions in your administration -- Why? Do you know what these people have said and done in the past? Are you selecting these individuals because you are of one mind with them? What did you mean your first day in office when you said "We are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America"? Did you mean Mr. President it is your intention to put in place the coalitions of power to bring about redistributive change?

Mr. President you have said in your own words that you have worked closely with ACORN and that they would play a key role in "shaping the agenda" for the United State of America, so are you being truthful when you say that you haven't been watching them very closely? To be blunt Mr. President, why are you playing dumb?

Mr. President, are you at all concerned about lower and middle class Americans who will be adversely affecting by rising energy costs as a result of Cap & Trade? You said yourself that electricity rates would "necessarily skyrocket", do you think utility companies will absorb that cost or pass it along to consumers?
Mr. President,is your idea of comprehensive immigration reform granting Amnesty to to 20 million illegal immigrants here currently? If so, then is that how you come to the conclusion that illegal aliens will not be covered in the healthcare reform bill?

So those are the questions that should be put to President Obama but unfortunately the Lapdog Media will not ask. Why? Those of you accusing Fox News and it's host of racism, are these not reasonable concerns especially in light of President Obama's very own words and deeds? Those of you who feel that Fox viewers are uniformed, do you know the answers to these questions? If so, then will you please address them instead of accusing reasonable people of racism, and self-hatred if said reasonable person asking happens to be black. Lastly because I'm really curious do you really give slightly a shade left of a damn who President Obama thinks will win the World Series?

Never In American History Has A President Had As Many Death Threats

Those are the words of one of my bff's....I suspected that she was just repeating something she'd heard on Urban radio in the morning because that's the kind of incidendiary misinformation disseminated these days. Then I ran across the most interesting article this evening by John Perazzo at Newsrealblog.com:

"Ever since the Tea Party phenomenon exploded onto the political scene a few months back, the Left has been up in arms over the inflammatory and offensive rhetoric featured on some of the signs and placards displayed by those in attendance. Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Rachel Maddow, among others, have fumed repeatedly about the bad taste exhibited by many of those expressing their displeasure with the President and his policies.

The Huffington Post ran a feature on this subject, titled “10 Most Offensive Tea Party Signs,” which singled out, among others, the following winners — or perhaps “losers” is a more apt term:

“Obama’s Plan: White Slavery”
“The American taxpayers are the Jews for Obama’s ovens”
“Our tax $ given to Hamas to Kill Christians, Jews, & Americans”
“Obama: What you talking about Willis? Spend my money?”
“Obama loves taxes, bankrupt USA, loves baby killing”
“Barack Hussein Obama: The new face of Hitler”
“Barack Obama supports abortion, sodomy, socialism, and the New World Order”
“Obama was not bowing [to the Saudi king]. He was sucking Saudi jewels.”
That’s pretty salty stuff. Reasonable people must concede that rhetoric like this is crude and offensive.

A question does come to mind, however: Exactly how did the Huffington Post go about selecting these particular signs for recognition? A simple Internet search turns up a whole host of protesters’ signs that were considerably more offensive, and more graphic, than these. Many of them, in fact, issued explicit calls for violence against the President. Among the uglier, more reprehensible examples were the following:

1.One sign exhorted Americans to “kill” the President and “bomb his f—in White House.”
2.Another said, “I’m here to kill” the President.
3.Another said to “hang” the President.
4.Another said the President “is the disease, death is the cure.”
5.Another said the President is “the only dope worth shooting.”
6.Another showed a likeness of the President’s face with a bullet hole in the forehead, oozing red blood.
7.Another called explicitly for the “death” of the “pig” in the White House.
8.Another displayed a caricature of the President’s disembodied, bleeding head.
9.Others featured the President’s face accompanied by such captions as: “Wanted: dead or alive,” and “Death to the dictator.”
10.Another showed the President’s neck being fitted with a noose.
11.Still another showed the image of a noose accompanied by a caption urging us to “support” the President (i.e., with the noose).
Perhaps examples 10 and 11 above, evoking images of lynchings, lend some credence to the claims of Jimmy Carter, who has told conservatives that, however much they may wish to deny it, their criticisms of President Obama are, in the final analysis, motivated chiefly by a subconscious racism that simply cannot accept a black man as President.

Oh, but wait. Actually, none of the signs in the numbered list above were displayed at Tea Party rallies protesting President Obama and his policies. They were displayed during the previous administration, at rallies protesting President George W. Bush and his policies.

Oops. Never mind."(

Check out these pictures courtesy of Zombietime.com:

I wonder why all of these death threats against Bush were not reported? Double standard perhaps? Kathie Shaidle at zombietime.com says the following: "I contend that the media is aggressively reporting on, highlighting and pursuing any and all possible threats to President Obama — and even hints of threats — but they purposely glossed over, ignored or failed to report similar threats to President Bush. Why? I believe it is part of an ideological bias: most mainstream networks and newspapers tried their best during the Bush administration to portray the anti-war movement as mainstream and moderate; whereas now they are trying to portray the anti-tax and anti-health-care-bill protesters as extremists and as fringe kooks. To achieve these goals, they essentially suppressed any mentions of the violent signage (including threats to Bush) at anti-war rallies, but have highlighted anything that could even conceivably be construed as a threat at anti-Obama events."

I supposed I wouldn't care so much about the drones who haven't a clue, who are routinely deceived the Obama's lapdogs media except that almost everyone I care about is damn Obama drone.

How To Determine If You Are A Racist.....

H/T Bob Parks at Black & Right....

President Obama's Orwellian Double Speak Has Reached An Epic Level

In an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, President Obama declares that the individual healthcare mandate is NOT A TAX.... Why? Well, just because he said so.

ABC: You were against the individual [health insurance] mandate...during the campaign.

OBAMA: Yes.

ABC: Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don’t. How is that not a tax?

OBAMA: Now what I've said is that if you can't afford health insurance, you certainly shouldn't be punished for that. That's just piling on. If, on the other hand, we're giving tax credits, we've set up an exchange, you are now part of a big pool, we've driven down the costs, we've done everything we can and you actually can afford health insurance, but you've just decided, you know what, I want to take my chances. And then you get hit by a bus and you and I have to pay for the emergency room care, that's...

ABC: That may be, but it's still a tax increase.

OBAMA: No. That's not true, George. For us to say that you've got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase. What it's saying is, is that we're not going to have other people carrying your burdens for you anymore than the fact that right now everybody in America, just about, has to get auto insurance. Nobody considers that a tax increase. People say to themselves, that is a fair way to make sure that if you hit my car, that I'm not covering all the costs.

ABC: But it may be fair, it may be good public policy...

OBAMA: No, but — but, George, you — you can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase. Any...

ABC: I — I don't think I'm making it up. Merriam Webster's Dictionary: Tax — "a charge, usually of money, imposed by authority on persons or property for public purposes."

OBAMA: George, the fact that you looked up Merriam's Dictionary, the definition of tax increase, indicates to me that you're stretching a little bit right now. Otherwise, you wouldn't have gone to the dictionary to check on the definition.

Yet, racism chasers wonder why some conservatives didn't want the Deceiver-In-Chief to speak to their children. "Listen up children, you can't just make up language -- but I can because I'm the President. What I say goes. If you doubt my definition of ANYTHING and check the dictionary you are stretching. My word trumps Merriam's and Websters. By the way tell your racist parents I'm the President so get over it!"

I can't believe how this man has beguiled a nation. People actually believe he is a genius!

H/T to RightKlik for pointing out the following:

Why don't we just point out the obvious?

Let’s all open up our copy of the Baucus plan and turn to page 29. We find ourselves in SUBTITLE D: SHARED RESPONSIBILITY. And what does the bill tell us will happen if you fail to purchase health insurance?

Excise Tax. The consequence for not maintaining insurance would be an excise tax.

Gangster Government

Here is why "Gangster" is not code for Black and why this description has nothing to do with racism or race-baiting.....

Ignorance Isn't Inconsequential So Catch A Clue

I read the most interesting article today on the American Thinker. Randall Hoven asks and answers the question What Would A Communist Do? In order to answer that question he went straight to the source -- the Communist Party USA. He summarized articles listed on http://www.cpusa.org/ listed in reverse chronological order. The below listed only scratches the surface of what he discovered:

What would a communist do about health care? Support it. In an article written by Sam Webb, National Chair, 9/10/2009 entitled Resetting the Health Care Debate, Mr. Webb writes: "As for the supporters of health care reform, we have to be every bit as tenacious as right-wing reaction. Justice, morality, and truth are on our side, but they are not enough. Only when combined with persistence, united action, and struggle over the bill's content, including a public option, will real health care reform see the light of day."

How would a communist support President Obama? Advocate for change. A posted speech given by Sam Webb on 7/30/2009 entitled The Communist Party - A Work in Progress says the following:"President Obama and progressive Congress people can't be the only change agents and will be change agents only up to a point. Our responsibility is to support them, prod them, and constructively take issue with them when we have differing views." But here is the kicker...."But more importantly -- and this is the heart of the matter -- we have to reach, activate, unite, educate, and turn millions of Americans into ‘change agents' who can make the political difference in upcoming struggles."

It isn't at all surprising that communist party would overwhelming support President Obama as they share some of the same core beliefs. Nor is it surprising to me that Americans with even a cursory understanding of political science and/or economics would be slightly concerned about that alone. Couple that with President Obama's affinity for Saul Alinsky, affiliation with Bill Ayers, and eerie similarities to totalitarian leaders like Hitler, Lenin, and Stalin and it is telling that more people aren't concerned. How can one be concerned about something you know nothing about? Therein lies the problem. Americans by and large are not only uninformed, but so uninformed that they don't know that they are uniformed. One blogger snarkily expressed it like this:"You don’t have a clue. You’ve been living in the Matrix and don’t know what true Socialism/Communism is. You’ve never been taught Stalin or Mao. You think you want Socialism/Communism because you’ve been taught how unfair Capitalism and the free market are....The useful idiots that put Stalin and Mao in power thought the same." - Fox

To the clueless, there is fairness, justice and equality in spreading the wealth that was rewarded to the wealthy via capitalism. They can not fathom how the inherent unfairness of capitalism (which I consider health competition) drives the desire to improve, accomplish and achieve.
Social and Economic Justice are merely palatable synonyms for Socialism promulgated by the socialist elite and their minions.

So here is the problem --the Socialist elite have money and enough of it to place their operatives throughout the offices of Capitol and White House. The clueless become increasingly clueless and beget clueless children and that is exactly what the socialist elite want. Their goal is to ensure that the clueless remain dumb and indoctrinated by the public school systems, colleges and universities without any real knowledge of who is leading them and why.

So I will leave it to the reader to catch a clue.
Hint: Start with the George Soros/Barack Obama connection.

Black America Is In Dire Need Of A Collective Lobotomy

I am convinced that my people need a collective national lobotomy. Why? Because we are clearly clueless about what real racism is. This is evidenced by the fact that we are unable to tell the difference between racism and bad form. Absolute everything is processed through the lens of race. Look at this disgusting display of black pathology:

I am often accused of "ignoring racism". In fact, this comment was left on another thread last night:

it's difficult for me to respect any conservative, especially black conservatives who constantly dismiss the impact of institutional racism that still exists in 2009.The biggest problem with racism is how entrenched it is in our society, employment practices, the judicial system, education and health care. If your goal is to attract more minorities to the Repub party then I suggest you start with dropping the typical talking points. Yes all people group need to take responsibility for personal choices but don't dismiss the horrible impact of poverty. (Spare me the notation of prominent blacks who have made it out of the ghetto because as it stands they are the exception but should be the rule)
YOu cannot simply say no one should be held accountable for the laws that undermine opportunities and consistently destroy the possibility of a level playing field. Please spare me the lecture about small government because that idea varies from person to person. And please don't lower the conversation by equating the desire for a competent government with a hand out. It's naive to simply say pull yourself up by your bootstraps when we both know that corporations do not do the same and many wealthy people game the system regularly. They use lobbyists to get their welfare so people don't look at them with disdain.
I will vote for the next Repub who stands up for the average person, addresses racism in policies and practices, and rhetoric and step down off the mountain of judgment. As a charismatic tongue talking loony Christian I don't need any politician attempting to govern my personal life I do that daily because I love Jesus.

This was my response:

~You write:"If your goal is to attract more minorities to the Repub party"

Well, this isn't my goal. I am not a republican party operative. Why would I care who is or who isn't a republican? Honestly, I'm only a registered republican because in my state independents can not vote in primary elections. I am a conservative Christian just as you profess to be. As such I walk in the knowledge that No weapon formed against me shall prosper and as a self described
"charismatic tongue talking loony Christian" I would think that you would too.

Deplorably, the racism industry trivializes the evil of actual racism. The ethnic hatred based on skin color, tribe, religion and culture that wreak havoc around the globe...especially on the continent of Africa. I am astonished that prominent black politicians, journalist, etc. (sorry I deplore the term african american)have their drawers knotted because of Joe Wilson's outburst of "you lie" and he was right, but are not the even slightly concerned, hurt, outraged about the genocide in Darfar. Or give even a hoot about the horrific destruction of Zimbabwe done by Mugabe. No I'm not astonished I'm embarrassed, heartbroken and disgusted.

You go on to admonish me for what your presume are my talking points self reliance, pulling oneself up by their bootstraps, so I'll spare you. But I must ask, do you think those are bad ideas?

Since you believe that
blacks who have achieved some modicum of success are the exception rather than the rule; that no one is held accountable for the laws that undermine opportunities and consistently destroy the possibility of a level playing field. What law is that? It is my understanding that minorities are favored systematically via affirmative action and often enforced quotas are mandated.

You have difficulty respecting black conservatives as you feel we constantly dismiss the impact of institutional racism. Well, back at ya. I have difficulty respecting Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive Fundamentalist Racism Chasers for their constant indefatigable use of the race card and their inability to discern the soft bigotry of low expectation which belies modern liberalism aka the democrat party. If 40 years of pointing out racism hasn't eradicated it, then why do you think that adding my small little black conservative voice to the choir of racism charges will change anything? But I still take exception to your claim that black conservatives ignore racism. I speak about how racist these lilly white leftist democrats are in almost every post I write. I try and expose how the race industry thrives on empty rhetoric in an effort to maintain a position of legitimacy. The pejorative label "racist" is to be feared above all else. Universities and corporations feel compelled to fund and house diversity bureaucracies promulgating the absurdity of eliminating racism by attempting to magnify and infuse race as a factor in every human interaction.(source) How many corporations offer "diversity" training? How many white colleges and universities offer "African American studies" programs? How's that working out in your mind since our society is still so racist? Well, I posit that it's all about the money, the funding....see the racism industy is lucrative (Van Jones will tell ya)"

The fact that an overwhelming amount of black folks view reasonable and valid criticism of President Obama as racist indicates that we are indeed suffering from a collective mental illness and in dire need treatment. Clearly, liberal programs haven't cured the ills that grieved us over the last forty years so I fear the only cure is a national collective lobotomy.

Metaphorical Cartoonery: Health Care Like School Lunch

H/T to Nickie Goobma and a commenter who referred to the image below as "metaphorical cartoonery"....

After the President's speech last night, I tortured myself by reading the facebook comments of a few of the national and local black journalists who are FB friends (at least they were until today) and the general consensus is reflected below:

The national CNN guy posted in his status box that he missed the President's speech and asked how it was to which his friends replied:

"His speech was brilliantly put together and delivered. Joe Wilson's disrespect shows how much work remains to be done"

"It was concise, dealing with issues as rumors and lies of his plan, costs, and the public option. Survey of 19,000 viewers 93% had a clearer understanding of the reformed health plan that he will support. My personal favorite waswhen he said health plan is a "moral imperative." His charge of social justice made it clear that every US citizens has a right to health care."

"It was funny to see the republicans on the right side not cheering at all when Obama spoke. It is so sad this country is being pulled backwards by republicans. They want to divide this country into rich and poor, similar to russia."

The local guy posted the following status:"An Unhealthy Display - http://tinyurl.com/n66fra - So this is how they treat the President. But it has nothing to do with race, right?"

To which his friends replied:

"Imagine the fallout if Rep. Jesse Jackson offered such flagrant disrespect of George Bush. This is where I think the Democrats need to not take the high road and request disciplinary action. The precedents of the House allow a wide latitude in criticism of the President, other executive officials, and the government itself. However, it is not ... Read More permissible to use language that is personally offensive to the President, such as referring to him as a “hypocrite” or a “liar.” --from the Republican House Rules"

"i had two thoughts last night. first as i looked at the dais i couldn't help but wonder if it wasn't galling to all those white men in the chamber to see a woman and a black man occupying two of the three seats there. second, i found it ironic that when george bush was standing in that spot and REALLY AND ACUALLY lying about the war in iraq (and ... from what i hear, most people knew it), somehow the dems managed to maintain their cool."

How misdirected are these people? How angry and duped will they feel in 2013 if and when this "morally imperative" legislation passes and takes effect?

Finally before someone comments that it's vile to use Obama's daughter in a cartoon, Opus #6 (commenter on Nickie Goomba's blog) counters by saying "The gist is that Obama cares about her, like we care about our own families. He doesn't want her lunch ruined. Like we don't want out health care ruined." I completely agree and therefore decided to post the cartoon.

Green Is Becoming The New Red And Blacks Are Being Bamboozled In The Process

I had a little exchange yesterday with "progressive" blogger Rippa who blogs at The Intersection of Madness and Reality. Now although Rippa and I are on polar opposites of the political spectrum, I appreciate that he at least engages in honest debate and challenges my points of view intellectually rather attacking me for said views. Rippa said the following:

"I think your assumption that the Green Movement will increase energy cost is false. To be honest, it's economics 101 - something I majored inwhile at Indiana University. You see, the problem is that there are not enough alternative sources of energy, and we have become dependent on oil hence the "crackhead" analogy that came from Van Jones. I know this requires a shift in paradigm, but it is not a stretch that the green economy can have a positive impact by way of jobs in our budding urban centers."

See, the problem here is not that Rippa is unreasonable. If I accepted that premise then I wouldn't be seeing "red" (pun intended) as I read Van Jones The Green Collar Economy: How One Solution Can Fix Our Two Biggest Problems. Rippa, and many other well-intentioned "progressives" believe the premises put forth by Van Jones. I presume they so desperately want a redemptive solution for the problems with in these "urban centers" that they naively believe that pumping money into these communities via green jobs will restore them. Nope, there is already lots of money in these communities. "Pookie & Em' " are making tons of cash and these communities are still rife with violence and hopelessness. See, in many cases it's not that "Pookie" can't get a job, the problem is that "Pookie" can make more money with his "hustle" than he can in the mail room downtown, driving a bus, installing cable, or installing SOLAR PANELS. What Rippa and most progressives are in denial about is the systemic problems that exists within "Pookie's" paradigm. Getting "Pookie" all riled up about social injustices does not motivate "Pookie"to become a contributing member of society but it does motivate him to feel victimized, then offended. Therefore he goes on the offensive to take what he can from society by whatever means necessary. Well, black progressives haven't yet made this mental leap but radical communist leaders understand this perfectly well and exploitation of this is part of the strategy they forge.

David Horowitz writes the following on page 310 of Leftist Illusions:

“Even as its own inhumanity and inefficiency consume revolutionary socialism in the East, however, a specter can be seen rising from its ashes in the West. The colors are no longer red but green, the accents are those of Malthus rather than Marx, but the missionary project is remarkably intact. The planet is still threatened, redemption through radical politics still presses: Better Green than Dead. In environmentalism, radicals have found a new paradigm for the paradigm lost.”

Progressives regard the charge of communism, socialism and/or fascism as new euphemisms of hatred for President Obama and shadow government of Czars. Personally, I wish it were that simple because it would then be worthless, powerless hyperbole. However I fear that far worst than racially inspired name calling by extreme kooks --there is truth to these claims and this great Country will be far worst for it in the years to come.

Van Jones Is Kalinga

On yesterday I decided to see if Van Jones had a Facebook page so that I could read the words of encouragement offered to him by his supporters and I happened upon this picture of Van Jones and his family....

Now please understand that I have absolutely no problem with interracial marriage (especially for the sistahs-but that's another blog post) but I hardly expected to see Van Jones in an interracial marriage. I had to scratch my head. This morning as I read my daily dose of the BlackInformant, I noticed that Duane had the same reaction and related it to a scene from "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka"....

Ah come on, can't you take a joke...lol

Questions For Van Jones

As I watch all of the video of Van Jones, who I first pegged as a race baiting opportunist months ago (Green the Ghetto, Give Pookie A Job), I am left wondering exactly what will it take to assuage the rage and contempt that he and his ilk feel towards America.

I'm particularly amused by the term "environmental racism" (eco-racism), now I know that term wasn't coined by Van Jones and has been around for sometime among the granola-eating, liberal types who refuse to shave their legs or armpits and ride their bikes to work but seriously for Van Jones to repeat that ka-ka (code for bulls**t) publicly in an auditorium filled with black folks is just too duplicitous for words. Van Jones says "I'm black, how can I not love the Earth? I'm black how can I not love life? That's the legacy, that's where we are from..." (not making this up check it out for yourself). Is Van Jones saying that because we are black we have some special connection with Earth that white folks don't have? Further, if we love life so much--you know, because we are all black and "earthy" then why aren't we outraged by the number of abortuaries in our communities. And as far as enviromental racism is concerned does Van Jones and his ilk believe that evil white conservatives litter the streets and alleys of the inner cities with chicken bones, broken glass and used condoms when all of the "earthy" life-loving black folks are nestled in their beds sleeping at night? Is it the evil white racist conservatives who piss in apartment halls and elevators when the "earthy", life-loving black folks aren't looking? Is that the environmental racism he speaks of?
The point I'm making here is that influential black folks such as the distinguished Van Jones are doing a great disservice to the community they purportedly care so much about by extolling the evils of racism both real and imagined rather than encouraging self-reliance and empowerment.
