The Obama Deception

I'm not sure how I feel about Alex Jones who produced this video. But this is quite compelling. In the words of Hank Haanegraff I would admonish you to "eat the fish and spit out the bones"

"Imperialism and Facism needs a facelift and that facelift has to be black" - Professor Griff (Founder of Public Enemy)

I take exception to the Imperialist part..but, I concur that Facism needed a facelift and masking it with a Black face was strategic.

There IS some interesting stuff there CBW, but it’s mixed with a lot of paranoia.

For instance the CFR-Trilateral Commission-Bilderburger conspiracy has been a long-time John Bircher conspiracy theory that goes, “The globalists want to install an Anglo-American domination upon the globe and, in the process, enslave us all as ‘serfs to the New World Order’.”

One obvious question is, “Why would an Anglo-American Empire seek to “bust out” the American economy in order to bring about this “New World Order? Wouldn’t the vast majority of the American people buy into having a lead role in this sort of global domination...a domination that would seem to be very much in their own interests? There doesn’t seem to be any reason to have to bust out the U.S. economy.”

Another question is, “Why would such a group of purported “enlightened people” seek to make slaves/serfs out of the rest of the population? Slavery doesn’t work. It’s economically inefficient. In fact, it’s one of the reasons why the American South fell far behind the industrialized North in terms of economic output. Slaves/serfs only put in the absolute minimum effort, whereas those who are incentivized to work via owning their own businesses, offering professional services and working on commission tend to put in more hours, produce more and bolster the economy at a much higher level.

Also, widespread and extremely hard times are generally very unstable times. During the Great Depression rabidly misanthropic and disgusting organizations from the Communist Party to the Nazis sprung up in America. Madison Square garden would be home to a Bundt Meeting one week and a Communist Party gathering, the next.

No one in their right mind, let alone these supposed “enlightened folks” in this internationalist movement, would want THAT.

The video was well packaged and well-presented, but I’m extremely skeptical of those behind it. Some of their ideas are very familiar to me.

JMK~I'm pretty suspicious of it as well although I am completed convinced that Obama is a puppet (all presidents are). I think Prof. Griff summed it up best that imperialism and facists needed a new fact and what better face than a black one-- it was a genius move by the powers that be.

Alex Jones is on to something but I agree with you that he is does not come up with a logical conclusion.

I watched this video twice because I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I thought is was facinating that the Bilderberg Group was careful to clear out the hotel with a bogus fire alarm in order to hold their secret meeting. It makes me think that truth is indeed stranger than fiction. That was like a scene from an movie.

While I don't disagree that it was well crafted, with good production values, I only question its purpose.

Alex Jones seems to want us to believe that the likes of Bernanke, Obama, Emanuel and Geithner are nefarious, America-haters, who want nothing more than to destroy the country that is their homeland and home to their own families.

I prefer to think they are facing a horrific error - the federal government during the previous administration set its sights on a prodigious goal - "to increase minority homeownership."

Unfortunately, the entire government went about that in the wrong way.

The re-tooled CRA of 1995 changed the lending criteria, though that wasn't enforced and banks weren't pressured to comply until around 2002/2003.

The fact is that low income people and people with high debt to income ratios are HIGHER credit risks and lenders charge high-risk borrowers a premium that is legal and warranted in EVERY system in existence.

Traditional lending criteria imposed the higher costs of that risk on those high risk borrowers. What the Bush administration, as well as Barney Frank and Chris Dodd sought to do was to spread the costs of that risk over a larger pool (all of us).

They COULDN'T justify simply making interest rates on ALL mortgages a little higher to relieve those who are high-risk, so instead they sought creative ways to re-structure personal debt.

Bush signed onto the 0% DOWN on FHA mortgages. During his tenure, Fannie and Freddie increased the share of the mortgage market they "bought"/guaranteed FROM 24.8% to just under 50% (and MOST of that new debt came from the subprime mortgages).

What THAT did was to allow the banks and mortgage brokers to basically "create credit (a form of wealth) out of thin air", in other words, they allowed certain segments of the private sector to counterfeit credit!

What we've learned recently is that allowing the counterfeiting of credit is as dangerous, if not more so, than allowing banks to counterfeit currency which the government would be forced to back!

At this point we've pretty much frozen the global credit market and nearly bankrupted the globe.

I DO think that it was a "noble ideal" poorly implemented by naive people in both Parties.

A lot of U.S. Military personnel, especially Special Forces personnel have been Birchers (John Birch Society members), just as many of them subscribe to Jared Taylor's American Renaissance). I've known many members and I'm familiar with their magazine The New American and while I like their stated goals, "MORE freedom, LESS government and with the help of God, a better world," the conspiracy theories turned me off, ESPECIALLY the one about "the New World Order seeking to enslave us all in a globalist feifdom."

Like I said, slavery and feudalism are economically inefficient systems, and times of widespread economic misery are also generally politically unstable...I'd think there are better, more direct and more efficient ways of bringing together this global union than what is going on now.

Saying that, I oppose any form of internationalism or One Worldism and would quickly and without hesitation join with the Birchers and others in opposing ANY kind of "One World government" threat.

But I see something else here. I see naive incompetence...and while acknowledge that I could very much be wrong and Alex Jones completely right, I'm not, at least at this point, convinced.

I'm concerned about the state of affairs, but not convinced that the threat, as laid out is, as stated.

Being convinced of THIS would demand and dictate some deliberate and aggressive action on the part of all those who actually believe that our sovereignty is being immediately threatened. THAT would be a ponderous decision for any of us, I'd hope.

There'd be no turning back from there.

At this point, at least, I see a potential disaster, as a Liberal, "outside the beltway" Democrat (Obama), has inherited a faltering and flawed Keynesian economy from a very committed Keynesian Republican (Bush).

We had the SAME thing back in 1976, when another Liberal, "outside the beltway" Democrat (Carter) inherited a faltering and flawed Keynesian economy from yet another committed Keynesian Republican (Nixon)....the media was in love with Carter too, cooing over "how bright" the West Point grad and certified engineer was - the resulting four years ("the Carter Era") was an unmitigated disaster!

A 16.8 average annual Misery Index, a final year's record-high 22 Misery Index, with a staggering 23.5% prime lending rate.

By comparison, 2008's Misery Index was 9.6, capping 16 straight years of SINGLE DIGIT Misery Indexes and the prime rate was 3% when Barack Obama assumed office.

As you can see, though we face a widespread, global economic crisis of HUGE proportions, our economy has a long ways to go to get to the bottom it hit back in 1980.

We had this kind of economic fear and dislocation before (1977 - 1982) and the conspiracy theorists weren't proven right then...we wound up with Reagan and then Gingrich whose Supply Side policies delivered some of the best economies we've had since WW II.

The way I see it, the conspiracy theorists were wrong once already in the last three decades, so there's a better than even chance, in my book, that they'll be wrong again.

Even though I may not completely agree, I'm glad that folks like Alex Jones are out there. If they were silenced, THAT would be cause for concern.

Wow. Is Alex Jones the same guy that came up with the idea that the Pentagon was struck by a military missile on 9/11 instead of an airplane?

Some of this had me enthralled some of it was just paranoia. Some of it weaved into and out of basic reality but he did say to research it yourself.

I have to concur with the general sentiment here....some ok stuff but Alec Jones like a lot of conspiracy theorists is just not something as a Christian I could ever subscribe too..

I do read some of this stuff about the Federal Reserve and Black Helicopters but I just can't help but thinking quite a bit of it is just cheesy....

The thing is with these conspiracy theories is that they are so subjective...whatever happens on Wallstreet or whatever the Govt does is always a conspiracy ad nauseum..

From a Truth pov and a Christian pov (one and the same) all the evil is out there and not hidden..

I do not need conspiracies to tell me how evil this world is getting..

Whether its liberalism run amok or the U.N. or the NEA or the bias in the liberal press, its all out there...

Satan certainly is behind all evil...however that fully manifests itself, we will have to see...for us, we need to keep our eye's on the prize and that is Christ Jesus...

Bottom line, like you said CBW, spit out the bones (which a lot of this stuff is) and keep some of the pertinent material...

Just read Revelations...that will tell you how it all plays out in these dangerous yet exciting end times...

Take Care

Is it just me or is the notion of a black woman peddling the rightwing extremist bilge of Alex Jones downright sickening?

I really think that you and Shay Riley for instance just try to get a rise out of people.

You can't possibly be serious.

This is crazy conspiracy theory. There is no "New World Order". Government is too incompetent and corporations just care about making money. They are not all part of a big group that wants to change America and the world. The Statists in charge of the country right now want socialism and they want their party to stay in power as long as possible. If corporations ran this government they would have changed our system long ago. There is no conspiracy here...the problem is right in front of our faces and not hidden behind CEOs. The leftists want bigger government so they can control lives and have power. Read the book "Obamaland", it shows how we are doing exactly what England when they elected Tony Blair. He was loved and he was suppose to change the country and make government transparent and for the people. Instead he socialized and now Britain is falling apart and civil liberties have been almost completely stripped away.
Thats the bottom line.

Conservative Black Woman said...

I completely agree with you B! UTS, I am in no way peddling this, my intro said "eat the fish and spit out the bones". There is "some" truth in this video. The most glaring truth is that Obama is a well- marketed, well-packaged, handsome, articulate front man the leftist elite who brilliantly chose him to carry out their agenda because America was desperately ready for change.

I don't think Shay Riley would appreciate you placing her in the same category as me. She is FAR more moderate than I am. I am an unapologetic right-winger.

Does "The B" stand for the "bullshitter"?

You can't be serious.

You righties had your unregulated free market for 8 years and produced and unprecedented economic disaster.

As far as civil liberties being stripped, what in God's name do you call the Patriot's act, police jailing peaceful protesters, people brandishing anti-war signs or buttons being turned away from commuter trains, etc.....

You righties occupy a parallel universe.

No connect to reality whatsoever.

"The most glaring truth is that Obama is a well- marketed, well-packaged, handsome, articulate front man the leftist elite who brilliantly chose him to carry out their agenda because America was desperately ready for change."

And who in fact is this "leftist elite" who "chose" Obama???

This is ridiculous.

The party establishment and early money was with Hillary Clinton.

It was Obama's brilliant campaign and personal charisma which won over the PEOPLE.

He was clearly NOT the candiate of the establishment elite.

BTW, wasn't George Bush a well- marketed, well-packaged, handsome although inarticulate front man hoisted up by the rightwing?

If not, why not?

LOL, Yes he was. You should watch the first 45 mins or so of the video at the very least you will find it entertaining.

Who are the liberal elitist who chose Obama? Well, George Soros is one them as well as Bill Ayers, Rahm Emmanuel, Tim Geithener (sp.) pretty much all of his Cabinet appointments.

That kind of decline is part of the root of such conspiracy theories.

The list of government officials involved in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberger Group ISN'T all that surprising considering that it's EXACTLY the kind of people such groups seek out.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) began as a working fellowship of about 150 scholars, called "The Inquiry," that then President Woodrow Wilson asked to brief him about the possible options for the post-WW I age, once Germany was defeated. This group included Wilson's closest adviser and long-time friend Col. Edward M. House.

Not a very auspicious beginning, considering the failures of the post-WW I strategy that created the environment that nurtured Hitler.

http://www.cfr.org/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_on_Foreign_Relations

The Trilateral Commission is described as a non-governmental policy-oriented discussion group of about 325 distinguished citizens from North America, the European Union, and Japan which seeks to foster mutual issues for which these principal democratic industrialized regions share leadership responsibilities.

The question is, "Why would Japan be on board with promoting an Anglo-American domination of the world?"

http://www.trilateral.org/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trilateral_Commission

The Bilderberger Group's initial stated aim was to quell a growing anti-Americanism within Western Europe, born of resentments after WW II. "The original Bilderberg conference was held at the Hotel de Bilderberg, near Arnhem in The Netherlands, from May 29 to May 31, 1954. The meeting was initiated by several people, including Joseph Retinger (the man considered to be the architect of the European Union), concerned about the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, who proposed an international conference at which leaders from European countries and the United States would be brought together with the aim of promoting understanding between the cultures of United States of America and Western Europe."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberger

Also, the Federal Reserve is "private" in about the same way that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were private until last Summer.

The Fed, like those GSEs is a quasi-public (a government entity with private components) banking system that comprises (1) the presidentially appointed Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C.; (2) the Federal Open Market Committee; (3) twelve regional privately-owned Federal Reserve Banks located in major cities throughout the nation acting as fiscal agents for the U.S. Treasury, each with its own nine-member board of directors; (4) numerous other private U.S. member banks, which subscribe to required amounts of non-transferable stock in their regional Federal Reserve Banks; and (5) various advisory councils.

I personally never liked the idea of such "quasi-public enterprises," because they are given an advantage in the marketplace (government-backing) that real private entities don't share.

Ideally, government SHOULD NOT be involved in providing services because it does a terrible job of doing that. FedEx and UPS are much more efficient at package delivery than is the USPS and if private mail carriers were allowed to exist, they too would almost certainly be more efficient and effective, as well.

Same with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - the government's involvement in the mortgage industry has been disastrous....even before this recent bout of allowing, even encouraging the counterfeiting of credit.

In my view, ALL such delivery systems (the USPS, Fannie and Freddie) should be entirely private, OR, better still simply disbanded and the Federal Reserve probably SHOULD be a fully publically owned banking system, though independent (like the courts) from political pressure and ramifications.

This is just out and out Faux News garbage.

Aside from borderline insanity.

Obama's cabinet appointments were actually HIS appointers?????

And George Soros is the Democratic equivalent of Republican daddy warbucks Richard Scaife, only without the racism and slime.

Faux News VS. MS-LSD......

To my thinking the latter spews garbage. But I think we can agree on this that Presidents and their respective parties (DNC and RNC) are beholden to those who fund them. Lobbyist, bundlers, corportations etc. etc.

Isaiah 8:11-13 (New International Version)

Fear God
11 The LORD spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said:

12 "Do not call conspiracy
everything that these people call conspiracy;
do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it.

13 The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread,

Alex Jones irritates me. He makes all conservative Christians, especially white fundamentalists, look like idiots. And his followers are even worse, trying to warn people all the time, like we could do anything about it anyways even if these conspiracies were legit. His followers are joyless and do fear these conspiracies more than they trust God who is over all things.

Uptown Steve, just for the record since you are probably not well read but Alex Jones hates the Right as much as he does the Left...take one look at his conspiracy sight and take note of his attacks on bush these last many years...now it is obama's turn for the conspiracy minded..

For Alex Jones and others of that thinking, all politicians are equally bad...

Hey uptownsteve
you have to calm down man. You statists get so angry when you can't respond intelligently.
I don't agree with everything Bush did. In fact, towards the end I was very angry with disappointed with a man I thought to be a conservative.
I am so sick of you libs actually trying to argue that deregulation is bad.
Let me ask you a question...
Do you trust government? Do you think government is actually out there to help you?
If your answer is yes then I can't help you. You are lost. But if its no then tell why you would like more regulation?
There is corruption in the corporate world and there is corruption in government. The difference is that government writes law that change our country and our way living. Corporate America can only effect you if you want them to effect you.
Read your history Uptown. Regulations and taxation is what caused the colonies to Revolt and create a free nation.
