As a US senator, he pressed for increased federal subsidies. And as a presidential candidate, he has campaigned on a promise to create an Affordable Housing Trust Fund that could give developers an estimated $500 million a year. This is a damn shame. Barack Obama is just a Chicago bureaucrat who doesn't give a tinker's damn about the needs of the people he has on the streets campaigning for him who have been trained in the art of "community organizing" put forth by Saul Arlinsky. These same developers who were recipients of the set aside just happen to be large contributors to his presidential campaign. I wonder why?
