Well, we have finally done it. A black man may well in fact become the next President of these United States!!!!! I wish he weren't such a liberal democrat! I love this photograph.... A man who loves his wife -- What a team!!!! I hope Mr. Obama really meant it when he said last night:
If we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. This was the moment – this was the time – when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals. Thank you, God Bless you, and may God Bless the United States of America.
-- Barack Obama, June 3, 2008
I would really be on cloud nine if a black conservative man or woman were running on the Republican ticket. Perhaps in 2012 Condelessa Rice or Alan Keyes will run. By that time hopefully Black America will have awaken from delusion that the Democrats actually have our best interest at heart and entertain the possibility that Republicans may have solutions which would better serve our community. Social welfare programs are not the answer. Remember the old African adage -- Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day-- Teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime..... We need to break the cycle of poverty that has plagued our communities for generations. We need to keep families intact in order to accumulate wealth. Single moms can accomplish great things but how much more can be accomplished with two working together like the Barack and Michelle Obama.

Great blog! Visit mine at beingkee.blogspot.com. We have similar opinions.
I wouldn't have a problem with Obama if he wasn't so Liberal, I like everything else about him but tht's still big for me.
Alan Keyes already tired to run for the republican ticket in 2008already. He was ostracized during the debates that he actually attended and no one even knew he was running for the nomination.
I like Keyes, but I think there would be better cadidates then him but he is now running as a Libertarian I think.
I would LOVE to see Condoleezza Rice but I don't see her running for many reason but won't list them.

Alan Keyes? You can not be serious. There has got to be a better African-American Republican in this nation!!!
