NY Times Asks PSBO If He Is A Socialist...Finally A Legitiate Question!

A New York Times reporter asks PSBO whether or not he is a socialist, but PSBO initial blew him off because he wasn't prepared for that question, afterall the NY Times journalists have been his butt-boys and girls, why would he be prepared for a hard question! Once he came back to the oval office and checked in with Emanuel and Axelrod in true PSBO form , rather than saying "No I am not" he deflects and blames George Bush! He conveniently neglects to mention that 350 billion of the 700 billion from the Bush administration was handed over to him. However, he needed and additional 787 billion and is priming the government pump for yet another 4 trillion. Sorry, I'm not finding that to be completely consistent with free market principles.

I don't know whether or not he is a socialist because he is behaving more like as a tyrannical, dictator Marxist! He called that reporter back to reinforce his public position and force them to write that he is not a socialist. PSBO & company (Emmanuel, Axelrod & Soros) realize that the public does not have sufficient (relevant) education to recognize socialism or Marxism when they see it. However, If you conduct just a cursory study of Marxism, you will realize that a revolutionary, utopian belief in the ability to completely remake society is a central tenet of Marxism. Remaking society equals changing society. Sound familiar? You will also find that class warfare is a central invention of Marxism. The fact that class warfare is now firmly entrenched in our politics shows that Marxism has made major inroads into American life. Pitting classes against each other is a very Marxist concept and is exactly what I think about whenever I hear people rail against "evil" CEO's living excessive lifestyles.

PSBO's arrogance is mind boggling to me (ok, well not anymore I used to it from him now) he paraphrases Marx for two years during his campaign, wins the endorsement of Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and the son of Saul Alinsky but thinks that the American people are too stupid to make the correlation -- oh wait, most were! Yet when a journalist finally sprouts a pair of testicular gonads and asks a legitimate question he is blown off initially and later intimidated into running a favorable story.

OMGoodness! He's critizing the presscription drug entitlement when he wants to turn all of health care for all citizens into an entitlement?????

He's already reversed Bush's pro life policies, why didn't this free market man reverse Bush's socialist policies instead of multiplying them?

Since you feel that the "media" has been soft on Obama and hard on Massa Bush before him, could you please give me an example of a comparable question put to Bush.

Like "Mr. Bush are you a facist"?

That is seriously an intellectually fraudulent and inane question.

"That is seriously an intellectually fraudulent and inane question.

Apparently PSBO didn't think so which is why he had to go back to the oval office and try to think of a plausible answer. Of course he couldn't (it's so obvious that his is)So he decided not only to deny it (lie) but deflect (as usual) and attack Bush.

If it were so inane DJBA then why did he re-visit it by calling the journalist back? He could have just let sleeping dogs lie as he had already blown off the question.

UTS~Are you seriously implying that MSM gave George W. Bush a free pass? That they were not critical of him? Come now, surely you jest

CBW

Can you answer my question please?

And puh-leeze.

The media bent all the over and kissed Bush ass after 9/11 and let him get away with blatant lies and chicanery for years until it became too egregious to ignore.

Conservative Black Woman said...

UTS~It is not possible for me to answer the question why the media didn't ask "Mr. Bush are you a facist"? How can I answer why MSM asks or does ask questions.

Even if what you say is true:"The media bent all the over and kissed Bush ass after 9/11 and let him get away with blatant lies and chicanery for years until it became too egregious to ignore." and I don't think it is but I will suspend disbelief and commonsense and accept it -- was is your point? Someone finally asked PSBO a good question that he didn't anticipate and he fumbles the ball and has to call back to make sure they "get the story straight" wink, wink. Bush has abso-freakin-lutely nothing to do with this. Why do Obama supporters always bring Bush into the equation? Oh, silly question that's what he does why wouldn't his faithful flock do the same.

Pre-9/11 G W Bush was portrayed by the mainstream media as an oafish, dim-witted frat boy (“Chimp-boy”) and derided as “Cheney’s puppet.

After 9/11 the criticisms grew even more strident.

As J R Dunn of The American Thinker notes, “It can be stated without fear of serious argument that no previous president has been treated as brutally, viciously, and unfairly as George W. Bush…

“Bush 43 endured a deliberate and planned assault on everything he stood for, everything he was involved in, everything he tried to accomplish. Those who worked with him suffered nearly as much (and some even more -- at least one, Scooter Libby, was convicted on utterly specious charges in what amounts to a show trial)…

“It's quite true that other presidents have suffered baseless attacks. Lincoln was generally dismissed as an imbecile, an unwashed backwoodsman, and an orang-outang (as they spelled it then). There exists an infamous Confederate cartoon portraying him with devil's horns and one foot on the Constitution. Next to no one at the time could have foreseen the towering stature Lincoln would at last attain...

“...While FDR was accused of having engineered Pearl Harbor (as if even an attempted attack on the US would not have been enough to get the country into WW II in real style), no president before Bush was ever subjected to the machinations of an entire conspiracy industry. The 9/11 Truthers, a mix of seriously disturbed individuals and hustlers out to pull a profitable con, accused Bush and his administration of crimes that put the allegations against Roosevelt in the shade, and with far less rational basis. These hallucinations were picked up the mass media, playing the role of transmission belt, and various fringe political figures along the lines of Cynthia McKinney.

“But even this pales in light of the actions of the New York Times, which on its downhill road to becoming a weekly shopper giveaway for the Upper West Side, seriously jeopardized national security in the process of satisfying its anti-Bush compulsion. Telecommunications intercepts, interrogation techniques, transport of terrorist captives, tracking of terrorist finances... scarcely a single security program aimed at Jihadi activity went unrevealed by the Times and -- not to limit the blame -- was then broadcast worldwide by the legacy media. At one point, Times reporters published a detailed analysis of government methods of searching out rogue atomic weapons, a story that was no doubt read with interest at points north of Lahore, and one that we may all end up paying for years down the line. The fact that Bush was able to curtail any further attacks while the media as a whole was working to undermine his efforts is little less than miraculous.”

No one can seriously claim that ANY other American President has been as maligned as G W Bush, and for WHAT?

For spending MORE (even adjusted for inflation) on social programs than even LBJ? For spending BILLIONS on fighting AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa (not America’s fight)? For making one of his primary goals “Increasing minority homeownership in the U.S.? For defending America against a global jihadist threat that had been relentlessly waging war against America and American interests for over a decade prior to 9/11?

Bush overspent recklessly, his supporting the 0% down for FHA mortgages and allowing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy up/guarantee hundreds of billions in subprime mortgages has been a disaster and he was dreadful on illegal immigration, BUT none of these are what Liberals had a problem with!

"Why do Obama supporters always bring Bush into the equation?"

Two reasons.

1) Because righties are claiming that Obama got a free ride from the press.

As opposed to who? Bush?

How so? Can you explain?

2) Rightwingers are now INCREDIBLY trying to blame Obama who has been office less than two months for the results of Bush's eight year clusterf^ck of the country.

Conservative Black Woman said...

Ahhh, Brotherkomrade somehow I knew you would chime in on this...lol.

I wouldn't say I'm taking this seriously (Although PSBO Did!!!) because PSBO is only doing what he said during this campaign. It's the 53% of people who voted for him without knowing one darn thing about the significance of their vote that seriously annoy me.

brotherkomrade said...

But why would you assume, CBW that those who voted for Obama would be fooled or shocked at these so-called "socialist" moves that Obama has "committed?" My wife voted for him is only surprised that he's keeping his promises so far. She doesn't seem too ignorant at what he stood for or what he's doing now, so I'm sure there are others out there who knew what they were doing when they voted for him. I notice this narrative trend among the Angry Black Obama Haters; they always seem to have a need to portray those who voted for Obama - especially the black ones as being clueless. Are there really that many stupid black people in the world? And if you believe so, why?

Also, CBW I'd like to know how you felt about America's Right being Wronged, the HBO special. C'mon, you know you saw it.

PSBO's "ClusterF**kness" is rearing it's ugly head after 50 days in office! It took Bush a bit longer but this isn't about GW. I did think PSBO would take a few months to institute his agenda. But now I am even more convinced that PSBO & Company (Axelrod, Soros and Emmanuel) want bring this economy to it's knees just so they can scare the people(ignorant people that is)and make them dependent on the government. However, he will start speaking a bit more optimistically about the economy and where it's heading sometime in third year of office just to look like he is parting the sea and win his next term in the Presidency. Then he will take away term limits and be the President for as long as he lives. And all of his acolytes will live happily ever after! But it will be well deserved for being the complicit little Obama flunkies. One day we will wake up and it will be too late. In the name of hope and change and historicity we will have voted away all of our rights to personal and financial freedom in exchange for goverment cheese.

If his policies make the economic situation worse, both the economy and the government implode.

On top of the fact that Obama will be toast politically.

BrotherKomrade~I am sure that some people black and white knew what they were getting from Obama and it is indeed what they want -- I presume your wife would fall into that category. My agnst isn't against informed voters.

A large portion of Obama supporter(and I didn't specify in the post nor am I now specifying black supporters)were just sick and tired of 8 years of Bush and felt ANYTHING would be better than that. I have heard it said on the radio, I have seen it written on blogs and read it in news. So I don't believe I am too far off the mark.

I did see that documentary but I didn't even know it existed until I read your scathing review on your blog so naturally I had to watch. It was produces by Alexis Pelosi so I am not surprised that it painted the right as white, ignorant, toothless bigots -- it was a completely bias piece. I would pretty much agree with your review if I had nothing else to go on but I know better.

Dow Soars 379 Points as Investors Find Faint Signs of Hope

Wall Street soared on Tuesday in its biggest rally of the year after investors found a glimmer of optimism in the financial sector. The Dow Jones industrial average closed up
379.44 points, or 5.8 percent, at 6,926.49, while the Standard & Poor's 500-stock index was up 6.4 percent and the Nasdaq composite index rose 7.1 percent. The factors fueling the rally included a memorandum from Citigroup saying that the bank had been profitable in the first two months of the year; calls for regulatory reforms from the Federal Reserve chairman, and the possibility that the government would reinstate rules governing short sales of stocks.

Hey Uptownsteve
you can hate bush all you want and love obama all you want but come on..don't be a moron. The media attacked bush every chance they got for most of his 8 years. Yes, right after 9-11 they eased up but they had to without looking like a bunch of idiots. You know what Bush did though...he ignored it and did his job, you may disagreed with how he did it but he acted like a professional. He didn't call reporters back to clarify and he did not attack private citizens for publicly disagreeing with him. Obama sounds like a teenager trying to make excuses for bad grades. He will blame bush for all of his fours years in office.

This is the problem with our society and this is why we are heading down the road to economic serfdom. You think you deserve something from the government, you think they owe you something and that they should help you make your "millions". Thats not how life works...you have to work for it and maybe...just maybe if you work hard enough, you can make it.

Well yeah, they should have (even though they didn't) Bush is a moronic buffoon, a circus clown, the villiage idiot.

Then: "You think you deserve something from the government..."

We DESERVE our government to inact protections for consumers and workers, WE vote for our govenrment, and in a Democratic Republic THEY should answer to US and NOT the Corporate interests.

What makes you say that?

I was pretty tough on Shay Riley at Booker Rising, Baldilocks and the malebashers over at "Whataboutourdaughters".

"A woman who is Black and who is conservative....that takes guts..."

This sentiment always intrigues me.

Why is it so "tough" to be a black conservative?

Are their civil liberties being abridged?

Lives being threatened?

In the minds of racists, there is always a "danger" with black folks, isn't it.

"Why CBW, if you dare to oppose those awful negroes they may KILL you!!!"

Heck, were it not for them being black and conservative, no one would pay the slightest attention to mediocrities like Larry Elder, Michael Steele and Ron Christie.

They've parlayed their token status as black conservatives into a well paying hustle.

You are right of course! I remember when George Stephenopolous (spelling?) asked Obama questions that were "too hard", and nearly got fired for it. However, all the Liberal Media wanted to gush about was Obama's family.
