Its too bad an intelligent lady like this will never be heard from in the lame stream media. I always knew that most black people leaned republican during the Civil Rights Era, I was never quite sure when exactly it started to switch though. You wonder how much of it was from Dr. Kings protests against Vietnam and war that pushed a lot of blacks over to the democratic side.
Francis Rice was very informative and precise in this video.
Here is another black American who is forgotten:

Awesome stuff CBW..awesome stuff...for that 10 percent of the Black Commnity that see's through the lies of the left, this is really encouraging....

WE need to promote these type of teachings and dialouge out there and get the Black Dems of the plantation...

Great Great Stuff...

"I always knew that most black people leaned republican during the Civil Rights Era"

BULLSHIT.

The black vote after WWII leaned in favor of the Dems after FDR's executive order desegregating the Federal workforce and Truman's integration of the armed forces.

Although during this period many Republican liberals and moderates like Jacob Javits, Charles Mathias, and Neslon Rockefeller received significant black support.

The change (and you righties know this) came after 1964 when rabidly anti-Civil Rights Republican Barry Goldwater became the GOP POTUS nominee and lost every state in the union expect his home state Arizona and the Deep South.

Then came 1968 and Nixon's Southern Strategy (taught to him by newly converted Republican Strom Thurmond) which appealed in code to white fears and resentment.

It's the game the GOP has been playing for 40 years and you confused negroes have the titanic nuggests to ask WHY blacks vote overwhelmingly Democratic???

You know you black righties seem to be clueless as to why you are viewed with such scorn by the majority of the community and to me it's so obvious.

You try to play black folks for suckers as if we aren't aware of history or as if we cannot intuit our best interests.

This is the real deal with Republicans and the Black vote.

Feel free to dispute the points in detail and not just "nuh uh".

UTS you write:"You try to play black folks for suckers as if we aren't aware of history or as if we cannot intuit our best interests."

It is not "righties" who are suckering black folks. Also the while most CAN intuit their best interest most HAVE not.

Why don't you listen to what Mrs. Rice has to say about Goldwater and Nixon's southern strategy. I'd be interested in your response.

Brian said...

Hey uptown
once again...calm down.
Did you even watch the videos?
A welfare state will always hurt minorities most...always. Democrats/liberal/socialists want a welfare state. They used welfare to convince generations of people that they were helping minorities. If any game was being played it was the race game the dems have been playing for decades. Republicans generally want less government control. Less control means more freedom. More freedom means the less privileged have more chances to improve their way of living. Its why America initially grew so quickly and become the super power it still is.

CBW,

I'm at work and don't have the time to watch a 20 minute video.

Why don't you relay Ms. Rice's spin on the Southern Strategy for me.

Brian said...

so you admit you did not listen to what she had to say? interesting. Its easy to believe a certain ideology and say every one else is wrong when you refuse to just take a look at the other side.

I never said welfare is just for black people but that and affirmative action was abused by the left and used as a way to show they care when in fact its just hurting people. Government handouts will always destroy a nation and its people.
Conservatives want people to work hard and make something of themselves. Liberals want to prove they care and give worthless gifts.

Brian said...

you don't have time cause you are at work?
you seem to find a lot of time to comment on just about everything CBW posts and on every ones comments.

The B

How did affirmative action hurt people and what government handouts are you referring to?

Brian said...

every party panders to every group. They need votes...thats how politics works. Its what they do in office that matters. The Community Redevelopment Act is just one example. They think they are helping people with socialism but its just hurting and(as proven) has destroyed our economy.

Republicans are held accountable when they stray from conservative principles. People like Arlen Spector, Olympia Snow and Lindsey Grahm. These republicans time after time have voted in laws that have pushed us closer to socialism.

Conservative Black Woman said...

Ok UTS....I am going to take a deep breath an spew grace.

First of all my friend (grace, grace, grace) I didn't speak to whether or not the GOP panders I said I don't need a political party (that means democrats or republicans) to pander to me. The other cah-cah that you threw is in just absurd -- talk about spin!

How do I hold the Republican party accountable? Well, I will vote outside of party lines if I think the candidate is the best person for the job. As a matter of fact, I voted for Barack Obama in the primary elections because I believed (at the time) that he was the best candidate. By the time the general election rolled around I had come to my senses.

Oh yes, UTS it's not that I say nothing, the fact is you have no interest in hearing anything that any rightwinger has to so. I think it's much more fun for you to call names and hurl insults. You have been quite well indoctrinated tactically and ideologically by the liberal left.

Anonymous said...

"every party panders to every group. They need votes...thats how politics works. Its what they do in office that matters."

So why is it so offensive to you when Democrats pander to blacks?

You don't believe blacks worthy of pandering?

"The Community Redevelopment Act is just one example. They think they are helping people with socialism but its just hurting and(as proven) has destroyed our economy."

So the deregulation of Wall Street and it's policies of greed along with the war in Iraq at the tune of $4 billion a month didn't wreck our economy but the Community Reinvestment Act which only encouraged (didn't mandate) banks to meet the needs of borrowers from all segments of the community.

The fact of the matter is, out of greed, bankers pushed sub prime loans on minority and other first time borrowers knowing the rates would inflate.

"Republicans are held accountable when they stray from conservative principles. People like Arlen Spector, Olympia Snow and Lindsey Grahm. These republicans time after time have voted in laws that have pushed us closer to socialism"

So how are they held accountable?

They're still in office aren't they?

Brian said...

if there is more government control, the worse off we are.
Let me ask you a question, Steve.

Do you trust the Government?
Do you trust it to make anybody's life better?
If you say yes than there is just a fundamental difference in opinion and you really should not live in America...maybe Sweden.

If no, Why do you want a federal government to control every little aspect of our lives. From gun control to health care, from nationalizing banks to higher taxes and them deciding who will get all that tax money. Its just crazy to think that people actually want this kind of life. why do you want one power to have control of your personal life. Thats what socialism is. Thats what democrats have wanted for a long time. From FDR to LBJ to Carter to Clinton and now Obama. Its crazy.

Brian said...

i wish they weren't in office. People should wake up and start voting for candidates who want less government control.
You should read Frederick Hayek. Deregulation is a good thing. It helps free markets.

Conservative Black Woman said...

The B~ I wonder why UTS who has been accusing me of not answering his questions wouldn't answer yours? LOL, pretty darn funny isn't it.

Conservative Black Woman said...

UTS~Regarding you link to Michael Fauntroy's link over at huffpo. I'm not researching a book so I am not armed with the information that he is so....I will not dispute him at this time.

I think Conservative Brother said it best on yesterday when he wrote on the previous thread:

"This is the reality check that black and white liberals can't grasp. The GOP doesn't need the "black vote" in order to win elections on the state, congressional or Presidential level. The Democrat Party on the other hand can't survive as a party without the black vote. These facts can't be disputed, they are what they are. From 1980 to 2008, the GOP controlled the white house for 20 out of 28 years or 5 out 7 election cycles. They controlled congress for 12 straight years as well has controlling most of the governorships ALL WITHOUT THE BLACK VOTE. The GOP embrace blacks within the party because of a mutual interests and shared ideology. It comes down to "quality" not "quantity" of blacks in the Republican Party. That is fine by me.

It's fine by me too.

Anonymous said...

And my response to CB was that the Southern Strategy doesn't work anymore with America's changing demographics as evidenced by the last two national elections with the Republicans losing scores of house seats, Governorships, Senate seats and of course the White House.

Traditional red states like Florida, Nebraska, Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio have now turned Democratic.

But my question is why is it "fine with you" that the Repubs don't need the black vote as you say?

Conservative Black Woman said...

This is basically what Mrs. Rice says:

Democrats condemn Republican President Richard Nixon for his so-called“Southern Strategy.” These same Democrats expressed no concern when the racially segregated South voted solidly for Democrats for over 100 years,
while deriding Republicans because of the thirty-year odyssey of the South switching to the Republican Party.

The "Southern Strategy” that began in the 1970’s was an effort by Nixon to get fairminded people in the South to stop voting for Democrats who did not share their values and were discriminating against blacks. Georgia did not switch until 2004, and Louisiana
was controlled by Democrats until the election of Republican Bobby Jindal, a person of color, as governor in 2007.
The Claremont Institute published an eye-opening article by Gerald Alexander entitled “The Myth of the Racist Republicans”, an analysis of the decades-long shift of the South from the racist Democratic Party to the racially
tolerant Republican Party. That article can be found:
http://www.claremont.org/publications/crb/id.928/article_detail.asp

A review of Senator Barry Goldwater’s record shows that he was a Libertarian, not a
racist. Goldwater was a member of the Arizona NAACP and was involved in desegregatingthe Arizona National Guard. He supported the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and the Civil Rights Act of 1960, as well as the constitutional amendment banning the poll tax. His
opposition to the more comprehensive Civil Rights Act of 1964 was based on his libertarian
views about government. Goldwater believed that the 1964 Act, as written, unconstitutionally extended the federal government's commerce power to private citizens, furthering the government’s efforts to "legislate
morality" and restrict the rights of employers. It is instructive to read the entire text of Goldwater's 1964 speech at the 28th Republican National Convention,
It can be found at:

I am not anit government steve. I am pro constitution. I believe in what our founding fathers envisioned. A country of States ruled by the people and a federal government with certain delegated powers. Powers that were limited by the 10th Amendment. I am not a libertarian but a Conservative. I am for free market capitalism and I believe that kind of free market and smaller federal government is the only thing that can help men, women, white, black or any other color people to succeed in life. The party that represents that most is the Republican party. We believe that the federal government is there to protect the people and the constitution. This does mean making sure all races are treated equally (Civil Rights and Voting Acts). And being treated equally is not redistribution of wealth and welfare. It is safe guarding equal opportunity.
CBW- He really didn't answer my question.

They’re pretty straightforward and go to the core of what the Democratic party stands for and I’m curious to see what the answers would be. Why does he keep diverting the questions, yet demands that we answer all of his? Is it really because they supposedly have nothing to do with the issues of blacks in the GOP or does he just not want to answer them. We’ve always bounced around many subjects and issues in these discussion boards, so that’s not really the issue. I’m sure his response will be something about us “black righties blah blah blah…self hating blah blah…shucking and jiving…ass kissing…blah blah”

As a conservative independent I have more of a motivation to dislodge the Democratic tumor from the "cultural confidence" of Black America than I do in helping the Republican party.

However - if there is ONE THING that I'd like to see Ms Rice drop from her spiel it is this claim that MLK Jr was a Republican. Even if this were true IT IS IRRELEVANT to TO-DAMNED-DAY.

I have sat and listened to MLK's late wife and MLK III speak at events. BOTH OF THEM ARE LIBERALS, WITH STRONG HINTS OF BEING SOCIALISTS. Mrs King believed in guaranteed jobs and housing for all. After I listened to III I said to myself 'If your father were alive today and said the very same thing - I would be opposed to him".

Thus my point is: SUPERIOR TO PARTY MEMBERSHIP ARE IDEAS AND IDEOLOGY.

The Kings are NOT CONSERVATIVES. They are leftist quasi-socialists.

I'd like to think that MLK would be a social conservative but I am not even sure on that based on his running buddies: Joseph Lowery, Andrew Young and Jesse Jackson.

INSTEAD of focusing on party membership questions I would much prefer to have a focus on the CRIME that takes place in the area of Atlanta that is encapsulated by MLK Jr Drive to the south, Joseph Lowery Blvd to the West, Joseph E Boone - yet another civil rights leader to the North and back ended to the east by the now defunct Morris Brown College. This has been called The most violent area in Atlanta.

CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS ARE RIFE as the unacceptably low HOMICIDE CLOSURE RATES makes the odds of someone getting away with killing a Black person very good.

THIS IS A BIGGER ISSUE OF TODAY IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY than the question of if MLK was a Republican.

The present ruling class over the Black community at present DOES NOT HAVE AN ANSWER for these CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS. If there is no Republican/Conservative/Corporation or WHITE MAN to blame their effectiveness is neutered.

Right..

That's why no one but you 8% black righties take it seriously.

Answer this for me.

Where is the intelligence of supporting a party that doesn't even want your support?

Are you into self-flagellation?

WhiteBowieSteve:

You have fully assumed the persona of the WHITE BIGOTS who gave Black people so much trouble in the past due to their BONDAGE to saving face for the SYSTEM.

You see Steve - I see myself SPEAKING OUT FOR BLACK VICTIMS who otherwise don't have a voice.

(Did you watch "Gangland" last night about the "Boys Of Destruction" gang in St Louis? They were more KLAN-like in killing Black people than are the KKK)

Ida B Wells of 100 years ago did the very same thing in defense of voiceless BLACK VICTIMS.

Lets shift over to those who stood in the way, as they DIDN'T WANT TO BE TROUBLED over the news of some 'Dead Negroes'.

Steve -Ida B Wells got confronted by bigoted WHITE PEOPLE who's loyalties were to the SYSTEM and thus they say the actions of Ms. Wells pointing out the scars that are on the system's underbelly as being REBEL ROUSING.

YOU, however, Steve are a BIGOT IN THE SAME SPIRIT as these Bigoted Whites.

You see Steve YOUR GOAL is to protect the Black Establishment and the Democratic Party from any sort of criticism while they are in charge. (Well slight correction: Ida B Wells was fighting against Democrats too, but that's another story for another time).

YOU are not going to allow the news that a few INSIGNIFICANT BLACKS being killed on YOUR WATCH allow ME, a Black man, to have you make note of the PROBLEMS that are taking place while you toast your leadership at some exclusive party that you all have given each other to hand out masturbatory congratulations upon each other's political success.

I am hip to your game Steve.

When YOU say "Black Conservatives ain't poop" it is understood that you are only talking about the popularly hated few.

When I say BQPFRCs are SELLOUTS to their own ultimate racial interests then YOU want it to be that I am talking about THE BLACK RACE as a whole.

Sadly Steve - in both instances of White bigotry and Black bigotry.........there always seems to be a DEAD BLACK MAN who's carcass is discovered in the morning as the sunlight shines light upon the ants that have begun to feed on his body.

Today there are more CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS that go unchecked WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY than in any other place in this nation.

The fact that YOU have an inferiorized view of the "ghetto Blacks" who are killing each other (I have seen you say this so many times) makes them unworthy of your attention to bring JUSTICE to where they live.

Thus YOU are a perversion of Martin Luther King Jr's vision of justice.

My hopes for Detroit's future faded as I watched the tape of last Tuesday's council meeting, the one that considered the Cobo Center expansion deal.

It was a tragic circus, a festival of ignorance that confirmed the No. 1 obstacle to Detroit's progress is the bargain basement leaders that city voters elect. The black nationalism that is now the dominant ideology of the council was on proud display, both at the table and in the audience.

Speakers advocating for the deal were taunted by the crowd and cut short by Council President Monica Conyers, who presided over the hearing like an angry bulldog; whites were advised by the citizens to, "Go home."

Opponents were allowed to rant and ramble on uninterrupted about "those people" who want to steal Detroit's assets and profit from the city's labors.

A pitiful Teamster official who practically crawled to the table on his knees expressing profuse respect for this disrespectful body was battered by both the crowd and the council.

When he dared suggest that an improved Cobo Center would create more good-paying jobs for union workers, Conyers reminded him, "Those workers look like you; they don't look like me."

Desperate, he invoked President Barack Obama's message of unity and was angrily warned, "Don't you say his name here."

Juxtapose the place and the faces and imagine a white Livonia City Council treating a black union representative with such overt racial hostility. The Justice Department would swoop down like a hawk, and the Rev. Al Sharpton would clog Five Mile Road with protesters.

But in Detroit, dealing with the council's bigotry is part of the cost of doing business. As is dealing with its incompetence. (I'll pause here and excuse from that indictment Sheila Cockrel and Brenda Jones, who supported the Cobo deal, as did Kwame Kenyatta, who although he's an avowed nationalist, most often votes in the city's best interests.)

A video of a meeting on the Kobo Convention Center is here:

http://apps.detnews.com/apps/multimedia/player/index.php?id=3223

(See minutes 12 thru 16:40 for the exchange between Monica Conyers and the teamsters Union leader)

So, it seems that Detroit’s City Council has sunk to the level of the American South circa 1940s.

BUT that is not an isolated incident;

“Ike Brown is a legend in Mississippi politics, a fast-talking operative both loved and hated for his ability to turn out black voters and get his candidates into office.

That success has also landed him at the heart of a federal lawsuit that’s about to turn the Voting Rights Act on its head.

For the first time, the Justice Department is using the 1965 law to allege racial discrimination against whites.

Brown, head of the Democratic Party in Mississippi’s rural Noxubee County, is accused of waging a campaign to defeat white voters and candidates with tactics including intimidation and coercion. Also named in the lawsuit is Circuit Clerk Carl Mickens, who has agreed to refrain from rejecting white voters’ absentee ballots considered defective while accepting similar ballots from black voters.

OH NO!

You don't mean Jared Taylor!

Dr. Taylor is a respected scholar, just like Dr. Claude Steele.

Funny story, about twenty years ago, Jared Taylor published Paved With Good Intentions, and a NYS Senate Committe sought to vet that book, seeking either exaggerations or inaccuracies. An uncle of mine was a State Senator at the time and I went over the book for six months looking for inaccuracies and like the rest of that group, found nothing.

EVERYTHING, EVERY, single event in that book was painstakingly documented and easily vetted.

A book review that appeared buried in the NY Times book review (I guess even they couldn't find any inaccuracies), stated, "Taylor’s analysis of the double standards operating in America and of the overall circumstance of the underclass is unsurpassed in a single volume intended for the general reader…a document of first-rate significance for analyzing where we are."

Jared Taylor is a first rate scholar. Ironically enough, his work is even less controversial than Claude Stelle's ("test anxiety" has been proven to be a failed theory), while Taylor's analysis of the disproportionate violent crime rates between ethnic groups is, sad to say, backed up by the FBI's own crime stats.

Now, Michael Levin and Leonard Jeffries?

YEAH, both of them are racially bigoted educators - Levin a white/Jewish anti-black bigot and Jeffries a black anti-white bigot, both out of the CUNY system, but Jared Taylor, or Claude Steele?

No, neither of them are even all that controversial.

Still willing to say JMK isn't a racist?

"Jared Taylor, a Racist in the Guise of 'Expert'

by Dennis Roddy

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day last week, when much of the nation took a holiday, "race-relations expert" Jared Taylor was hard at work. He began at 6:45 a.m. with an interview with a Columbus radio station. At 7:05 he was on the air in Orlando. An hour later his voice greeted morning commuters in Huntingdon, W.Va.

At 10:10 a.m., he was introduced no fewer than four times as "race relations expert Jared Taylor" on Fred Honsberger's call-in show on the Pittsburgh Cable News Channel. Four hours later, he was back on the air with Honsberger on KDKA radio, where he repeated the message he'd been thumping all day: Martin Luther King Jr. was a philanderer, a plagiarist and a drinker who left a legacy of division and resentment, and was unworthy of a national holiday.

What Taylor did not say, and what Honsberger didn't seem to know until I picked up the phone and called in myself, was that Jared Taylor believes black people are genetically predisposed to lower IQs that whites, are sexually promiscuous because of hyperactive sex drives. Race-relations expert Jared Taylor keeps company with a collection of racists, racial "separatists" and far-right extremists.

Taylor heads the Virginia-based New Century Foundation. Its board of directors has included a leader of the Council of Conservative Citizens, successor to the White Citizens Councils of the 1960s. A former board member represented the American Friends of the British National Party, a neo-fascist and anti-Semitic far-right group in England. Another board member is an anti-immigration author who has also reviewed books for a Holocaust denial journal.

Race-relations expert Jared Taylor publishes American Renaissance magazine, which features an array of pseudoscientific studies that purport to show the folly of multiculturalism and the inherent failure of the races to live together. Or, as Taylor once wrote, "If whites permit themselves to be displaced, it is not just the high culture of the West that could disappear but such things as representative government, rule of law and freedom of speech, which whites usually get right and everyone else usually gets wrong."

What Taylor represents and how he got himself on no fewer than a half-dozen radio and television stations in large markets to denounce Martin Luther King illustrates the new tactics of white supremacy. Employing the dispassionate language of sociological and genetic studies, and under the veneer of academic inquiry, an assortment of highly educated people now push the theory that everything from unwed motherhood in Atlanta to economic collapse in Gambia can be explained by the genetic code imprinted on the races.

With a magazine that sounds as if it might be found on a coffee table in Mt. Lebanon, a degree from Yale, and fluency in three languages, Taylor easily found takers when his assistants blasted e-mails to scores of radio stations offering a Martin Luther King Day guest.

"Not everyone celebrates the legacy of Martin Luther King," the pitch reads. "Editor of American Renaissance magazine and race-relations expert Jared Taylor would be pleased to offer your listeners a view of Dr. King that challenges conventional wisdom."

Taylor's resume, conveniently linked to the e-mail, was formidable: bachelor's from Yale, master's in economics from the Institute for Political Study in Paris, business consultant in Japan, author of a quartet of books, two of them on race. It was all true, but gave nary a hint of what Taylor is really about.

"Jared Taylor is the cultivated, cosmopolitan face of white supremacy," said Mark Potok, editor of Intelligence Report, the magazine of the Southern Poverty Law Center. "He is the guy who is providing the intellectual heft, in effect, to modern-day Klansmen."

Taylor insists leftists are simply using that language to demonize intellectuals who take on sensitive issues.

"I've never been a member of the Klan. I've never known a person who is a member of the Klan," Taylor told Honsberger.

It's hard to say if Taylor knows any Klansmen, but they certainly know him. When conservative author Dinesh D'Souza attended one of Taylor's American Renaissance conferences, he bumped into David Duke, former Klansman and segregationist, chatting with Taylor. Another Klan stalwart is Don Black, whose neo-Nazi Web site, Stormfront.org, is a clearinghouse for extremist literature. Black gained celebrity in 1981 when he was arrested as he boarded a boat for Dominica where he and nine other mercenaries planned to overthrow that predominantly black island's government and install a white colonial junta. Potok, whose group occasional infiltrates Taylor's gatherings, sent me a photo of Black sitting at Jared Taylor's kitchen table, a beer in hand.

Maybe Taylor doesn't know any Klansmen, but before selling his house he might have to spray for them.

Taylor's strategy when I confronted him was to deny things that are easily proven. He insisted American Renaissance had never published an article in which theocratic writer Rousas J. Rushdoony denounced interracial marriage as Biblically unsound.

I refer Taylor to the July 2001 edition of his own magazine, in which H.A. Scott Trask calls intermarriage "racial suicide" and observes: "The Late Rousas J. Rushdoony points out that Biblical law and example is against all kinds of unequal yoking. 'The burden of the law is thus against inter-religious, interracial, and inter-cultural marriages, in that they normally go against the very community which marriage is designed to establish."

One of the more tendentious exchanges took place when I challenged Taylor to state whether he had published articles in "the quarterly of the British National Party."

"I don't believe the BNP has a quarterly," Taylor replied.

He's right. They have a monthly. It's called "Spearhead," and it carried Taylor's writings in the early 1990s, under his other name, Samuel Taylor. This relationship is no accident. Taylor's conferences have included speeches on white nationalism by none other than Nick Griffin, a Holocaust denier and leader of the BNP. Spearhead's editor, John Tyndall, toured the United States last year. After stops to visit David Duke in New Orleans, where Tyndall noted with disapproval the large number of racial minorities, he moved on to Oakton, Va., where he stayed at Taylor's home.

Before that, Tyndall was treated to lunch by Samuel Francis, one of the board members of Taylor's New Century Foundation.

A decade ago, Francis was fired by The Washington Times for a racist speech he delivered at an American Renaissance Conference. Since then he has busied himself as editor of The Citizens Informer, monthly paper of The Council of Conservative Citizens. The paper features regular accounts of invasions by non-white immigrants, black-on-white crime and the need for racial purity.

Those who would suggest that the Council's connections to Francis and Francis's ties to Taylor are guilt-by-association might want to consider the New Century Foundation's own tax filings for 1999. On line 80 of their IRS Form 990, Taylor's foundation lists the Council of Conservative Citizens as an organization to which it is "related ... through common membership, governing bodies, trustees, officers, etc."

This was the very year that the Council of Conservative Citizens included a link on its Web site to the Free Market Party. The link was quickly cancelled when the Free Market Party's founder and sole member, Richard Baumhammers, left his Mt. Lebanon home with a pistol in hand, killed his Jewish neighbor, set her house afire, then embarked on a two-county rampage that targeted Asians, Indians and blacks. In all, five people died. Baumhammers was concerned, like those who circle Jared Taylor's planet of intellect, about the expansion of non-white races.

None of this, of course, would meet with the approval of Jared Taylor, race-relations expert, who took the pains to tell Honsberger that people should be free to marry whomever they want, and that suggestions he is a racist are meant simply to shut up anyone who wants to rationally discuss race outside the norms of safe politics.

Such assurances would be more comforting if the audience that orbits planet Jared did not include members of the National Alliance, the Council of Conservative Citizens, the British National Party, Don Black, and David Duke. Taylor says he doesn't know any Klansmen. What is scarier is that he doesn't know his audience -- and the radio stations that gave him a platform on Martin Luther King Jr. Day didn't really know their guest."

@Uptown, CBW and JMK:

Honestly, I hadn't been paying attention and didn't know who this Jared Tayler imbecile was until now. I also did a little looking:

Taylor wrote "when blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western Civilization—any kind of civilization—disappears. And in a crisis, civilization disappears overnight."

This from: http://www.amren.com/mtnews/archives/2005/09/africa_in_our_m.php

Well Uptown, this clearly makes Taylor a racist, and an idiot (but that's another issue all together).

Well, either JMK can "denounce" Jared or he can "embrace" Jared, if he does the later, then he also is by mutual inference, as racist as Jared Taylor.

JMK, feel free to clear up your support of such a character, and CBW, didn't you once mention your concerns about Bara ck because of his relationship with and / or support of a "racist" like Jeremiah Wright?

Just sasking...

Boy, this Jared Taylor cat is a live trip! A "scholar", lololololol. The man is a faming moron!

Anyone who doesn't understand that there is NO SUCH THING AS RACE in a "scientific" sense is either ignorant or an imbecile. This guy is basing so many of his "theories" on the science fiction of "race".

CBW, I am truly curious to your thoughts on this...

JMK already said that Taylor was a "first rate scholar" so that sure sounds like an endorsement to me.

Not necissarily, I think Himmler was a first rate scholar, he also was a raving lunatic though...
