A Voice Calling From The Wilderness......

Congratulations to President Elect Barack Obama!!! Conservatives, Republicans, Right Wing Christians we have been put out to pasture and it's prayin' time. I am truly happy that America and Black America in particular is rejoicing in this. While it saddens me that we felt so downtrodden in the year of our Lord 2008 and I am thrilled that we have gotten the "collective" inspiration that we have so longed for until now. So where do we go from here since we have been so inspired? I pray that black men are inspired to marry the women they impregnate. I pray that black fathers are inspired to lead their families. I pray that black parents are inspired to demand excellence from their children. I pray that we are inspired rise, rise, rise from the bottom of every demographic in this country.

P.S. If you are already inspired and handling your business, then I am clearly not referring to you.

OBAMA CLINCHES THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION!!!

Well, we have finally done it. A black man may well in fact become the next President of these United States!!!!! I wish he weren't such a liberal democrat! I love this photograph.... A man who loves his wife -- What a team!!!! I hope Mr. Obama really meant it when he said last night:

I would really be on cloud nine if a black conservative man or woman were running on the Republican ticket. Perhaps in 2012 Condelessa Rice or Alan Keyes will run. By that time hopefully Black America will have awaken from delusion that the Democrats actually have our best interest at heart and entertain the possibility that Republicans may have solutions which would better serve our community. Social welfare programs are not the answer. Remember the old African adage -- Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day-- Teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime..... We need to break the cycle of poverty that has plagued our communities for generations. We need to keep families intact in order to accumulate wealth. Single moms can accomplish great things but how much more can be accomplished with two working together like the Barack and Michelle Obama.

With all due respect to this great I am not sure that he could have imagined the day where:

"Non-justice" is delivered by the hands of favorable officials with racial diversity that realize "Black on Black violence" is not seen as "violent" as other modalities
Where allowing "ignorance to prevail" is a favorable strategy for the retention of power by those who position themselves as saviors
Where "conspiracy theories" are effective tools to allow people to remain unified against an external threat - even when it has moved away and they are all by themselves - otherwise having to manage the human resources before them toward a more conscious end.

In this environment - Robbery, the oppression of intimidation, and degradation put in the form of a music genre lead to an inevitable condition of insecurity for persons and property.
