The..."MSM will never acknowledge a PSBO failure(s). They have too much invested..." (CBW)

I don't think so, CBW.

The MSM did the very same thing with Jimmy Carter! They loved that guy. A trained electrical engineer, he was seen as "the smartest U.S. President since Thomas Jefferson" - they had a little better historical perspective back then - Jefferson had an estimated 180+ IQ, though they overlooked Herbert Hoover - also an acknowledged "brilliant man" who was also, a trained engineer, BUT when the economy worsened each year, by his second year, Carter was transformed into a miserable failure and a national joke.

The real JOKE in America has long been all the smarmy, pompous, self-important dopes in the media...but Carter, in his day, made that a pretty close race at the time.

I know the Obama administration is trying to lower expectations, but the MSM hasn't bought into that and though I believe they'll get away with a worsening 2009, blaming on an "inherited Bush legacy," but after that, it's all theirs.

IF the leading economic indicators (inflation, unemployment and interest rates) are significantly WORSE in early 2011 than they are now (7.5% unemployment, 2.5% inflation, 3.25% Prime Rate), Barack Obama's tenure will probably follow the trajectory of his close friend and MA Governor Deval Patrick's - initially lauded as "the future of MA", his approval ratings are now lower than Bush's and closing in on our single-digit U.S. Congress's. Governor Patrick's tenure has most Bay Starers wishing for a return to the days of Mitt Romney.JMKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14281344324964417974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081245598457508568.post-26856142998425407292009-01-24T10:43:00.000-05:002009-01-24T10:43:00.000-05:00So, let's start fresh Obama acolytes and judge you...So, let's start fresh Obama acolytes and judge your guy on his performance alone
Performance #1: “PSBO (sic) has lifted the ban on US funding for international groups that offer advice about, or perform, abortions.” But I guess he had to do this since there’s a pattern of each democratic president reversing this initial Reagan decision and each Republican president since placing the ban back. But I thought we were so low on funds and had a deficit? How do we as a nation afford to provide abortion care to to other nations? oh I know, because abortion procedures are cheaper than prenatal care, maternity care and pediatric care?

I still think it is devil-like to want to fund the killing of babies for countries with women too poor to afford to provide abortions! Wait a sec, this will cost the US money, I read that “The funding ban was devastating for other non-government groups working on women's health. International Planned Parenthood lost more than $US100 million ($A153 million) in funding during the Bush years”
http://www.theage.com.au/world/obama-lifts-bush-abortion-bans-20090124-7p2x.html

Expected Performance Note #2: He's also said he will support stem cell research, how truly anti Christ–like of him.

These are his actions I judge him on. I must teach my children that although a man like him is adored by the media, that they should not ever support someone who supports killing babies as a matter of public policy. In his role as president, he’s affecting lives and changing the world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2081245598457508568.post-40406770059641342822009-01-22T18:15:00.000-05:002009-01-22T18:15:00.000-05:00I think I agree with him about the MSM, especially...I think I agree with him about the MSM, especially if at some point Obama goes against the prevailing views of those in the media. They will not be able to hide their anger. I will never forget when John Roberts (at CBS at the time) was at a press conference when the issue of a marriage amendment was being considered. He was absolutely furious at Pres. Bush. I mean he showed every bit of his anger and bitterness about the issue. I am convinced that many others in the MSM share his sentiments. I just do not believe that if by a miracle he changes his mind on some of these issues that they will be nice and say nothing. Maybe on other issues they will keep quiet but not on the moral issues. They will not be able to help themselves. They will use the power of the media to reduce him to nothing like they did Pres. Bush. The fact that he is black will bring out the racist tendencies of some of them.Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02625679179124409756noreply@blogger.com
