PSBO'S Double-Standard Is Infuriating...

I wish President Select Barack Obama would stop making me angry. I want to bask in the bliss of him being the First AA President like all my swooning, snotting, crying brethren. But how in the name of all that is holy can I experience this joyful bliss when PSBO blasts Wall Street CEO's but is curiously quiet when it comes to his adminstration...

"President Barack Obama lashed out on Thursday at “shameful” Wall Street
executives for claiming billions of dollars in bonuses while their stricken
institutions asked taxpayers for support.Mr Obama described the bonuses as the
“height of irresponsibility”, and made clear that additional government support
for the industry would be subject to tough conditions on pay and other
perks."(Source)

But guess what? His tax evading, tax cheating Treasury Secretary Timothy Geitner gets a pretty attractive package:

"Newly minted Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s finances got a recent boost, thanks to a plump $435,000 severance payment from his old employer – the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In addition, Geithner last year earned $411,000 as president of the New York Fed and got another $50,000 to $100,000 for unused vacation and comp time, according to a mandatory financial disclosure statement released by the Office of Government Ethics.

News of his nearly half-million dollar severance payment comes as Geithner embarks on helping President Barack Obama sell the $825 billion stimulus package, designed to help struggling Americans."
(Source)

Translation: It's ok for government executives to get compensation but private sector -- not so much.

Well, I'm thinking that the companies which took a bailout are sorry they did. It appears that BIG BROTHER aka PSBO (who clearly has no corporate experience) can then tell them how to pay their employees. I wonder how the folks who are cheering PSBO for scolding these Wall Street CEO's would feel if their employers didn't give them their annual bonuses, vacation pay, or comp time?

(Sidebar question: Was Michelle Obama a partner in her law firm? If so, possibly 50% of her income would be generated by her bonus)

Stay tuned folks more Socialism to follow.

Digital Publius: Open Up, It's The Wolf

Digitial Publius wrote in my opinion an insightful assessment of PSBO's first few days in office entitled Open Up, It's The Wolf. I am reposting it here for my familiars(friends & family) who can't understand why I am like "a dog with a bone" on the life issue. Perhaps it will be more palatable for my "peeps" coming from DP.

"For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as
children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no
fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For
it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever
doth make manifest is light. Ephesians 5:8-13 (emphasis added)
It is no mistake that president Obama forbade any television news cameras from filming him as he signed the executive order reversing the George W. Bush abortion
funding ban for international groups that perform abortions or provide
information about the procedures to women abroad. It was a shameful act, best
done in the dark. Ironically most of this federal money goes to Africa to abort
black babies. While president Bush spent more money in aid for Africa to combat
disease and poverty than any president in the history of our country, putting
the American peoples treasure to work fighting to preserve life, the first black
president puts that same treasure to the task of destroying it. But Kanye West
said Bush hates black people.Mr. Obama’s first act as president was to sign
a proclamation declaring January 20th, a National Day of Renewal and
Reconciliation, the proclamation begins,

“As I take the sacred oath of the highest office in the land, I
am humbled by
the responsibility placed upon my shoulders, renewed by the
courage and decency
of the American people, and fortified by my faith in an
awesome God.
We are
in the midst of a season of trial. Our Nation is
being tested, and our people
know great uncertainty. Yet the story of
America is one of renewal in the face
of adversity, reconciliation in a time
of discord, and we know that there is a
purpose for everything under
heaven.
On this Inauguration Day, we are
reminded that we are heirs to
over two centuries of American democracy, and that
this legacy is not simply
a birthright -- it is a glorious burden. Now it falls
to us to come together
as a people to carry it forward once more.”

To those empty words I quote:

“Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh
the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore
partakers with them.” Ephesians 5:6,7

So; to glorify an awesome God, he in the first few days of his presidency, reverses a law designed to preserve the first unalienable right he swore in his oath of office to uphold, “the right to life”. He speaks of “reconciliation in a time of discord” and “coming together as a people” yet he could not wait to take an action that could only be perceived as nothing less than a petty smack in the face to conservatives; and
frankly, the God he professes to serve. an action designed to fan the
flames of discord ever higher to newer and greater heights. It seems this child
is able to compartmentalize his light.

If the truth be told this is not an action by Obama that lacks precedent, one
of the first actions of Bill Clinton when he assumed office, was to reverse
similar laws put in place by Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, so it is not
just an Obama thing to counter erring on the side of life, it is a decidedly
democrat thing.

Having studied scripture, history and economics, I can’t back Obama’s
domestic fiscal plans either, they are as foolhardy and ungodly as his social
agenda. To the Christians that supported Obama; if you have no understanding of
how the natural issues like the economy, and comparative political ideologies
really work from a practical and historical perspective, I can almost see how
you could fall for the socialistic rhetoric espoused by Obama nad the left, it
is very appealing to the flesh, and it elevates man, while alleviating
responsibility and guilt.

They talk of relief for the poor while promoting policies that ensure that
the poor will always be there to vote for them. They talk a good game, if you
are not paying close attention. The media works hand in glove with the
democratic party by presenting a steady diet of alternatives to wholesomeness,
making it easier to sell aberrant lifestyles and rebellion against Godly
principles.
My Bible says that you know the tree by the fruit it bears, Mr.
Obama says that he supports the true war on terror, at least the war being
prosecuted in Afghanistan, and that he supports the men and women who are
fighting that war. Yet, paradoxically his first act as commander in chief of
those forces; was to skip The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball.

The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball began in 1953 with President Eisenhower’s
inauguration, and honors the nations Congressional Medal of Honor recipients,
the highest military honor bestowed in America. In 56 years and 14 inaugurations
no president has ever skipped this ball, until Mr. Obama. There were 48 Medal of
Honor recipients in attendance, heroes of the republic all, what where they
offered by their new commander in chief? Only the bitter fruit of
indifference.

Meanwhile, the enemy who those brave warriors he claims to support are
facing, sit in madrasah all over the world hearing that the new president shows
once again the evil permeating American society, as they import death with
abortion to all the world, even Muslims hate abortion and it is prohibited in
Islamic nations as a great evil, as it should be in Christian nations.
But
somehow in America, some Christians don’t see it as the most important issue to
be concerned with when choosing a leader. God’s most precious gift, life, gets
relegated below universal health care, redistribution of wealth and “yes we
can”. I say how do you get to “Hope and Change” if you don’t start with life?
Issues like abortion, sinful lifestyles, and accountability, are spiritual in
nature, causing one to reflect on your relationships with your fellow man, who
it is much easier to give a handout to, than a hand-up, and to a creator God who
is the only real Judge.

I hope those who voted for Mr. Obama look beyond what is being reported by
CNN and MSNBC, and begin to examine this man by his fruit. From where I am
sitting, Mr. Obama’s clothing, up close, and underneath, seems to be composed
more of fur than wool. If last week is any indication his fangs are more suited
to rending the flesh of those who oppose him than chewing the cud in hopes of
finding common ground." (Digital Publius)

Smiling At Socialism and Scorning The Bible...As Told By Berit Kjos

One of my dearest Pastor friends told me yesterday that Jesus was a socialist. Because I love Jesus (who BrotherKomrade describes as the hippie nailed to the cross)I decided that before I reject this claim that I would suspend disbelief and consider that possibility that it may be true. Ingrid Schlueter who blogs at Slice of Laodicea writes that "America is ready to embrace socialism. Decades of public education indoctrination in America has left an illiterate, historically ignorant voting population clueless about our own nation’s history, free market economics and the price of the freedoms we enjoy. After years of corruption brought Wall Street and the world economy down, Americans are clamoring for “change.”

She adds: "What variety of change and what they are losing with their change concerns them not at all. That’s why they elected a radical leftist President who is the process of nationalizing our banks and delivering socialist government to the United States of America." She then posted a link for Berit Kjos article entitled Smiling at Socialism and Scorning the Bible. Kjos talks about two ideals of socialism "Solidarity" and "Common Good". Well, these seem harmless enough right, I'm thinking Jesus would be all about solidarity and common good. But then Kjos writes:

"Diverse people trained to find "common ground." (The "diversity" is needed to
erode the old values) The "common vision" and new values required for this
planned solidarity are most effectively planted in minds through strategic
propaganda and facilitated group dialogue blending opposing views into an evolving consensus. Aldous Huxley describes the results in Brave New World Revisited

"Assembled in a crowd, people lose their powers of reasoning and their capacity
for moral choice. Their suggestibility is increased to the point where they
cease to have any judgment or will of their own. ... they are subject to sudden
excesses of rage, enthusiasm and panic. In a word, a man in a crowd behaves as
though he had swallowed a large dose of some powerful intoxicant [See
The
Dopamine-Driven Church
]. He is a victim of what I have called
'herd-poisoning.'”
[7]

He writes the following about Common Good:

"The driving vision of solidarity. American individualism must yield to collective thinking and action. Personal "good" must yield to the "good" of the collective -- including redistribution of resources. Though it sounds compassionate, this process destroyed both Russia's middle class and personal incentive. It left everyone equally poor -- except the elite rulers who controlled everything.

Yet, socialist change agents still believe that with a bit more psychology, sociology, surveillance and assessments -- all part of today's re-education -- the dream can be accomplished. But they are wrong! Whether subtle or coercive, the march toward global solidarity will bring terror and totalitarianism, not peace and plenty. And it will surely raise hostility toward Christianity, which is incompatible with the rising socialist system. As Marx and Engels wrote in The Communist Manifesto (1848):

"...communism abolishes eternal truths... and all morality, instead of constituting them on a new basis; it therefore acts in contradiction to all past historical experience....

"The Communists... openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions."[8]

Today such change is gradual and alluring rather than forceful and alarming. Influential Pied Pipers like Rick Warren speed the process. According to Christianity Today, Rick Warren is pleased to share Obama's inauguration platform with Bishop Gene Robinson, a homosexual who has promised to give the prayer without using a Bible. Complimenting Obama, Warren said,

"President-elect Obama has again demonstrated his genuine commitment to bringing all Americans of goodwill together in search of common ground."[9]

For the record my problem with Gene Robinson is not that he is homosexual that's business for him and God to work out(or not) my problem is Gene Robinson a Christian Bishop saying that he would make sure his prayer wasn't "too christian." You know, folks get mad at black conservatives because they falsely believe that we have sold out our race. But these same folks running through the aisle, snotting, crying and shouting hallelujah on Sundays don't give a flying fig about a Christian minister selling out Christ!

I have a problem with any christian who is so caught up in the "Hope and Change" mantra of our day that they have forgotten the God that they profess to serve. Now, if you aren't a Christian then I'm not talking to you --do what you do.

So, was Jesus a Socialist? Probably, but because we are sinful beings in a body of flesh, socialism will always be deviled and corrupted by our human nature.

Contraception Stimulates The Economy In Pelosi's World

As I watched Nancy (Princess of Prada) Pelosi ( I must admit that I am covetous of her wardrobe & Jewelery) on ABC's This Week Sunday morning I wanted to wring her turkey neck as she tried to explain how funding Planned Parenthood would stimulate the economy...

Basically the Princess Of Prada, the speaker of the democratic plantation is saying let's fund Planned Parenthood because they are in the business of killing black babies. Yes, they call it contraception but these abortuaries which litter black communities kill more babies than contraception counseling.

However, I have to tip my hat to PSBO (President Select Barack Obama) because it appears that he is urging Pelosi and Reid to axe the "contraception" pork for the bill (at least for now).

"Democratic leaders in the House are nearly certain to drop federal funding for new contraceptive services and on-going programs to stop sexually transmitted diseases from the $825 billion economic stimulus bill due to hit the floor Tuesday, a senior official told FOX News.
The decision is due Tuesday morning in advance of two high-profile meetings President Obama will hold with House and Senate Republicans to build bipartisan support for his massive economic stimulus bill. The bill contains $87 billion in emergency Medicaid funding to help states crushed by deficits. …
Despite Pelosi’s argument, Democrats and the Obama White House appear eager to deprive Republicans of what’s become a key attack line against the stimulus bill."(Source)

Well, I guess Planned Parenthood has to wait in line behind the unions but I'm sure PSBO will get around to paying them back as well.

Hope & Change Deconstructed

Dick Morris wrote an article entitled The Obama Presidency: Here Comes Socialism which I think beautifully deconstructs what President Obama's Hope and Change strategies are and what they will mean for Americans. He writes:

"Just as the stars were aligned for Wilson, Roosevelt, Johnson and Reagan,
they are aligned for Obama. Simply put, we enter his administration as
free-enterprise, market-dominated, laissez-faire America. We will shortly become
like Germany, France, the United Kingdom, or Sweden -- a socialist democracy in
which the government dominates the economy, determines private-sector priorities
and offers a vastly expanded range of services to many more people at much
higher taxes.... (however, I'm sure this is good news to short-sighted Obama acolytes)

Obama will accomplish his agenda of "reform" under the rubric of "recovery." Using the electoral mandate bestowed on a Democratic Congress by restless voters and the economic power given his administration by terrified Americans, he will change our country fundamentally in the name of lifting the depression. His stimulus packages won't do much to shorten the downturn -- although they will make it less painful -- but they will do a great deal to change our nation. (Well, he was elected based on change, right? He going to deliver change but will you like the changes?)

In implementing his agenda, Barack Obama will emulate the example of Franklin D. Roosevelt. (Not the liberal mythology of the New Deal, but the actuality of what it accomplished.) When FDR took office, he was enormously successful in averting a total collapse of the banking system and the economy. But his New Deal measures only succeeded in lowering the unemployment rate from 23 percent in 1933, when he took office, to 13 percent in the summer of 1937. It never went lower. And his policies of over-regulation generated such business uncertainty that they triggered a second-term recession. Unemployment in 1938 rose to 17 percent and, in 1940, on the verge of the war-driven recovery, stood at 15 percent. (These data and the real story of Hoover's and Roosevelt's missteps, uncolored by ideology, are available in The Forgotten Man by Amity Shlaes, copyright 2007.)
But in the name of a largely unsuccessful effort to end the Depression, Roosevelt passed crucial and permanent reforms that have dominated our lives ever since, including Social Security, the creation of the Securities and Exchange Commission, unionization under the Wagner Act, the federal minimum wage and a host of other fundamental changes.

Obama's record will be similar, although less wise and more destructive. He will begin by passing every program for which liberals have lusted for decades, from alternative-energy sources to school renovations, infrastructure repairs and technology enhancements. These are all good programs, but they normally would be stretched out for years. But freed of any constraint on the deficit -- indeed, empowered by a mandate to raise it as high as possible -- Obama will do them all rather quickly.

But it is not his spending that will transform our political system, it is his tax and welfare policies. In the name of short-term stimulus, he will give every American family (who makes less than $200,000) a welfare check of $1,000 euphemistically called a refundable tax credit. And he will so sharply cut taxes on the middle class and the poor that the number of Americans who pay no federal income tax will rise from the current one-third of all households to more than half. In the process, he will create a permanent electoral majority that does not pay taxes, but counts on ever-expanding welfare checks from the government. The dependency on the dole, formerly limited in pre-Clinton days to 14 million women and children on Aid to Families with Dependent Children, will now grow to a clear majority of the American population. (But, this will not be a bad thing for the Obama acolytes that I know. They'll take $1000 now without thinking of the long-term implications)

Will he raise taxes? Why should he? With a congressional mandate to run the deficit up as high as need be, there is no reason to raise taxes now and risk aggravating the depression. Instead, Obama will follow the opposite of the Reagan strategy. Reagan cut taxes and increased the deficit so that liberals could not increase spending. Obama will raise spending and increase the deficit so that conservatives cannot cut taxes. And, when the economy is restored, he will raise taxes with impunity, since the only people who will have to pay them would be rich Republicans. (Except all republican's aren't rich. Although this less financially fortunate republican was hoping to be)

In the name of stabilizing the banking system, Obama will nationalize it. Using Troubled Asset Relief Program funds to write generous checks to needy financial institutions, his administration will demand preferred stock in exchange. Preferred stock gets dividends before common stockholders do. With the massive debt these companies will owe to the government, they will only be able to afford dividends for preferred stockholders -- the government, not private investors. So who will buy common stock? And the government will demand that its bills be paid before any profits that might materialize are reinvested in the financial institution, so how will the value of the stocks ever grow? Devoid of private investors, these institutions will fall ever more under government control. (Wow, Uncles Sam is going to have banks by the seminal gonads and private investors will be a thing of the past...bye, bye to the dreams of those of us who hoped to prosper in the free market)

Obama will begin the process by limiting executive compensation. Then he will urge restructuring and lowering of home mortgages in danger of default (as the feds have already done with Citibank). (What about people who have maintained their mortgages -- They should be penalized for being responsible citizens)

Then will come guidance on the loans to make and government instructions on the types of enterprises to favor. God grant that some Blagojevich type is not in charge of the program, using his power to line his pockets. The United States will find itself with an economic system comparable to that of Japan, where the all-powerful bureaucracy at MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry) manages the economy, often making mistakes like giving mainframe computers priority over the development of laptops.

But it is the health care system that will experience the most dramatic and traumatic of changes. The current debate between erecting a Medicare-like governmental single payer or channeling coverage through private insurance misses the essential point. Without a lot more doctors, nurses, clinics, equipment and hospital beds, health resources will be strained to the breaking point. The people and equipment that now serve 250 million Americans and largely neglect all but the emergency needs of the other 50 million will now have to serve everyone. And, as government imposes ever more Draconian price controls and income limits on doctors, the supply of practitioners and equipment will decline as the demand escalates. Price increases will be out of the question, so the government will impose health care rationing, denying the older and sicker among us the care they need and even barring them from paying for it themselves. (Rationing based on income and price will be seen as immoral.) (This is when the Obama acolytes will regret their decision. Because loved ones will suffer negative or maybe even fatal effects....Was Big Mama's life worth that $1000 stimulus check?)

And Obama will move to change permanently the partisan balance in America. He will move quickly to legalize all those who have been in America for five years, albeit illegally, and to smooth their paths to citizenship and voting. He will weaken border controls in an attempt to hike the Latino vote as high as he can in order to make red states like Texas into blue states like California. By the time he is finished, Latinos and African-Americans will cast a combined 30 percent of the vote. If they go by top-heavy margins for the Democrats, as they did in 2008, it will assure Democratic domination (until they move up the economic ladder and become good Republicans.(This is the REAL REASON for Obama's speed of light political ascention. The DNC and Liberal elitist knew this....It was politically calculated)

And he will enact the check-off card system for determining labor union representation, repealing the secret ballot in union elections. The result will be to raise the proportion of the labor force in unions up to the high teens from the current level of about 12 percent.

Finally, he will use the expansive powers of the Federal Communications Commission to impose "local" control and ownership of radio stations and to impose the "fairness doctrine" on talk radio. The effect will be to drive talk radio to the Internet, fundamentally change its economics, and retard its growth for years hence.
But none of these changes will cure the depression. It will end when the private sector works through the high debt levels that triggered the collapse in the first place. And, then, the large stimulus package deficits will likely lead to rapid inflation, probably necessitating a second recession to cure it. (The intention would be to silence dissenting voices. At this point socialism is too soft a description. I'd dare say communism.)

So Obama's name will be mud by 2012 and probably by 2010 as well. And the Republican Party will make big gains and regain much of its lost power.
But it will be too late to reverse the socialism of much of the economy, the demographic change in the electorate, the rationing of healthcare by the government, the surge of unionization and the crippling of talk radio. (Sigh, sigh, sigh -- Hope and Change deconstructed.)(Source) - Commentary CBW's

What We Have Here Is A Jeremiah 1:16 Situation

I will pronounce my judgments on my people because of their wickedness in
forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their
hands have made (Jeremiah 1:16)

I have been thinking about Oprah Winfrey's, Beyonce's, and various other celebrity comments about how Barack has inspired them, made them "better" people and on and on and on. I've concluded that celebrities are bit touched anyway so perhaps one can not place too much credence on their comments. But what is most disturbing to me are the ordinary folks who are literally worshiping Obama. Women overcome with emotion because Obama has brought us to the Promised Land.

Jay Stapleton of the National Prayer Ministry addresses this and directs us to consider the Book of Jeremiah...He titled this video "America Has Forsaken God - and Is Embracing A Man, in His Place" ....

Judge Obama On His Performance Alone...

Juan Williams wrote a compelling op-ed in the Wall Street Journal today. It confirms what my fellow compatriots have been saying about the MSM and it's complicity in the public relations caricature that is President Barack Obama. He writes:

With the noon sun high over the U.S. Capitol, Barack Obama yesterday took
the oath of office to become president of the United States. On one level, it
was a simple matter of political process -- the symbolic transfer of power. Yet
words alone cannot convey its meaning. The calloused hands of slaves, the voices
of abolitionists, the hearts of generations who trusted in the naïve promise
that any child can become president, will find some reward in a moment that was
hard to imagine last year, much less 50 years ago. Our history, so marred by the
sin of slavery, has come to the day when a man that an old segregationist would
have described as "tea-colored" -- the child of a white woman and an African
immigrant, who identifies as a member of the long oppressed and despised black
minority -- was chosen by a mostly white nation as the personification of
America's best sense of self as a nation of power and virtue.

At the end of the 1965 march calling for
passage of the Voting Rights Act, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said politics held
the potential to reflect the brilliance of the American creed of justice for
all, and a "society at peace with itself, a society that can live with its
conscience." Years of hard work lay ahead to shift racist attitudes born of
political power being limited to white Americans, he said, then added that "the
arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. How long? Not
long. Because mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the
Lord!"

It is neither overweening emotion nor partisanship to see King's moral
universe bending toward justice in the act of the first non-white man taking the
oath of the presidency. But now that this moment has arrived, there is a
question: How shall we judge our new leader?
If his presidency is to
represent the full power of the idea that black Americans are just like everyone
else -- fully human and fully capable of intellect, courage and patriotism --
then Barack Obama has to be subject to the same rough and tumble of political criticism experienced by his predecessors.
To treat the first black
president as if he is a fragile flower is certain to hobble him. It is also to
waste a tremendous opportunity for improving race relations by doing away with
stereotypes and seeing the potential in all Americans.

Yet there is fear, especially among black people, that criticism of
him or any of his failures might be twisted into evidence that people of color cannot effectively lead. That amounts to wasting time and energy reacting to hateful stereotypes. It also leads to treating all criticism of Mr. Obama, whether legitimate, wrong-headed or even mean-spirited, as racist. This is patronizing. Worse, it carries an implicit presumption of inferiority. Every American president must be held to the highest standard. No president of any color should be given a free pass for screw-ups, lies or failure to keep a promise.

During the Democrats' primaries and caucuses, candidate Obama often got
affectionate if not fawning treatment from the American media. Editors, news
anchors, columnists and commentators, both white and black but especially those
on the political left, too often acted as if they were in a hurry to claim their
role in history as supporters of the first black president.
For example, Mr.
Obama was forced to give a speech on race as a result of revelations that he'd
long attended a church led by a demagogue. It was an ordinary speech. At best it
was successful at minimizing a political problem. Yet some in the media equated
it to the Gettysburg Address. The importance of a proud, adversarial press
speaking truth about a powerful politician and offering impartial accounts of
his actions was frequently and embarrassingly lost. When Mr. Obama's opponents,
such as the Clintons, challenged his lack of experience, or pointed out that he
was not in the U.S. Senate when he expressed early opposition to the war in
Iraq, they were depicted as petty. Bill Clinton got hit hard when he called
Mr. Obama's claims to be a long-standing opponent of the Iraq war "the biggest
fairy tale I've ever seen." The former president accurately said that there was
no difference in actual Senate votes on the war between his wife and Mr. Obama.
But his comments were not treated by the press as legitimate, hard-ball
political fighting. They were cast as possibly racist. This led to Saturday
Night Live's mocking skit -- where the debate moderator was busy hammering the
other Democratic nominees with tough questions while inquiring if Mr. Obama was
comfortable and needed more water. When fellow Democrats contending for the
nomination rightly pointed to Mr. Obama's thin proposals for dealing with
terrorism and extricating the U.S. from Iraq, they were drowned out by loud if
often vacuous shouts for change. Yet in the general election campaign and during
the transition period, Mr. Obama steadily moved to his former opponents'
positions. In fact, he approached Bush-Cheney stands on immunity for
telecommunications companies that cooperate in warrantless surveillance.
There is a dangerous trap being set here. The same media people invested in boosting a black man to the White House as a
matter of history have set very high expectations for him. When he disappoints, as presidents and other human beings inevitably do, the backlash may be extreme. (I, CBW disagree. MSM will never acknowledge a PSBO failure(s). They have too much invested)

Several seasons ago, when Philadelphia Eagle's black quarterback Donovan
McNabb was struggling, radio commentator Rush Limbaugh said the media wanted a
black quarterback to do well and gave Mr. McNabb "a lot of credit for the
performance of this team that he didn't deserve." Mr. Limbaugh's sin was saying
out loud what others had said privately. There is a lot more at stake
now, and to allow criticism of Mr. Obama only behind closed doors does no honor to the dreams and prayers of generations past: that race be put aside, and all people be judged honestly, openly, and on the basis of their performance. President Obama deserves no less.
(Source) - emphasis added by CBW

If Obama is so wonderful then he doesn't need a "free pass" because he is the first black POTUS. So, let's start fresh Obama acolytes and judge your guy on his performance alone and not the undeserved, historic, we shall overcome, ancestoral hee-bee geebies which have lifted him to "god-like" status (Hey, Beyonce said it was like being in the presence of God).

What Is The Big Deal About "Swagger"

It pains me to admit this but since confession is good for the soul .... I visited a well known gossip bloggers page this morning (who shall remain nameless because I'm embarrassed) but amazingly she does not idolize Obama and made some rather nasty predictions regarding his ability to remain faithful to Michelle. Well, I am certainly praying that the Obama marriage remains strong because the sanctity of marriage (between a man and a woman that is) is a beautiful thing. In fact President Obama's very public display of love and affection for his wife and daughters is the ONE thing I admire about him.

But as I read the comments related to this blogger's post and from talking to my familiars last night the phrase "swagger" kept coming into play. Apparently, PSBO (Pronounced Pis-Bo:President Select Barack Obama) has mad swagger. Because I can't afford to lose any more "cool points" by confessing that I wasn't really sure what swagger was, I looked it up in the urban dictionary. So after perusing all 23 definitions (btw, definition #5, misspelled words and bad grammer aside-- is just obscene) I can't figure out how "swagger" is such a good thing in a president, man , husband or future husband? So, I've come to the conclusion that it's not the black men in our community who have the most serious issues as it pertains to relationships marriage and family-- it's the women. See we have placed something as ridiculous as "swagger"on our must have list for potential mates and its seems that "swagger" holds a higher position than integrity, intellect and responsibility. In the words of Forest Gump "Stupid is as stupid does"....

AJ From Houston: The Substitute Official Obama Criticizer

Hat Tip to Papa Giorgio for posting this video on his blog Religio-politicaltalk but I had to repost here because AJ reminds me of my dearly departed Poppie(my granddaddy) who was IMHO the wisest man ever--!!! So I present to you AJ from Houston...

The Dream and 44th? uhhh not so much-- but good stuff none the less.

President Barack Hussein Obama's Inaugural Address

My fellow citizens:

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he has shown throughout this transition.

Forty-four Americans have now taken the presidential oath. The words have been spoken during rising tides of prosperity and the still waters of peace. Yet, every so often the oath is taken amidst gathering clouds and raging storms. At these moments, America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because we the people have remained faithful to the ideals of our forebears, and true to our founding documents.

So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans.

That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.

These are the indicators of crisis, subject to data and statistics. Less measurable but no less profound is a sapping of confidence across our land — a nagging fear that America’s decline is inevitable, and that the next generation must lower its sights.

Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met.

On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord.

On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.

We remain a young nation, but in the words of scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. The time has come to reaffirm our enduring spirit; to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.

In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of shortcuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted — for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it has been the risk-takers, the doers, the makers of things — some celebrated but more often men and women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged path towards prosperity and freedom.

For us, they packed up their few worldly possessions and traveled across oceans in search of a new life.

For us, they toiled in sweatshops and settled the West; endured the lash of the whip and plowed the hard earth.

For us, they fought and died, in places like Concord and Gettysburg; Normandy and Khe Sahn.

Time and again these men and women struggled and sacrificed and worked till their hands were raw so that we might live a better life. They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction.

This is the journey we continue today. We remain the most prosperous, powerful nation on Earth. Our workers are no less productive than when this crisis began. Our minds are no less inventive, our goods and services no less needed than they were last week or last month or last year. Our capacity remains undiminished. But our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions — that time has surely passed. Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America.

For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act — not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.

Now, there are some who question the scale of our ambitions — who suggest that our system cannot tolerate too many big plans. Their memories are short. For they have forgotten what this country has already done; what free men and women can achieve when imagination is joined to common purpose, and necessity to courage.

What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them — that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works — whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end. And those of us who manage the public’s dollars will be held to account — to spend wisely, reform bad habits, and do our business in the light of day — because only then can we restore the vital trust between a people and their government.

Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control — and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous. The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our gross domestic product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart — not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our founding fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience’s sake. And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort — even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.

For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus — and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace.

To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. To those leaders around the globe who seek to sow conflict, or blame their society’s ills on the West — know that your people will judge you on what you can build, not what you destroy. To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist.

To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world’s resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it.

As we consider the road that unfolds before us, we remember with humble gratitude those brave Americans who, at this very hour, patrol far-off deserts and distant mountains. They have something to tell us today, just as the fallen heroes who lie in Arlington whisper through the ages. We honor them not only because they are guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service; a willingness to find meaning in something greater than themselves. And yet, at this moment — a moment that will define a generation — it is precisely this spirit that must inhabit us all.

For as much as government can do and must do, it is ultimately the faith and determination of the American people upon which this nation relies. It is the kindness to take in a stranger when the levees break, the selflessness of workers who would rather cut their hours than see a friend lose their job which sees us through our darkest hours. It is the firefighter’s courage to storm a stairway filled with smoke, but also a parent’s willingness to nurture a child, that finally decides our fate.

Our challenges may be new. The instruments with which we meet them may be new. But those values upon which our success depends — hard work and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism — these things are old. These things are true. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout our history. What is demanded then is a return to these truths. What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility — a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship.

This is the source of our confidence — the knowledge that God calls on us to shape an uncertain destiny.

This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed — why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration across this magnificent mall, and why a man whose father less than sixty years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath.

So let us mark this day with remembrance, of who we are and how far we have traveled. In the year of America’s birth, in the coldest of months, a small band of patriots huddled by dying campfires on the shores of an icy river. The capital was abandoned. The enemy was advancing. The snow was stained with blood. At a moment when the outcome of our revolution was most in doubt, the father of our nation ordered these words be read to the people:

“Let it be told to the future world … that in the depth of winter, when nothing but hope and virtue could survive…that the city and the country, alarmed at one common danger, came forth to meet (it).”

America, in the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children’s children that when we were tested we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God’s grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.

I will reserve commentary out of respect for ____________. Well, I'm not really sure what but it seems like the right thing to do. I just thought I'd post the speech for his acolytes who sometimes read this blog (and then proceed to give me the beatdown...lol).

But I will say that Rev. Joseph Lawery's prayer was just ridiculous (nicest word I can think of). I couldn't believe he recited the "black get back, brown stick around....etc" idiom.. my father used to say that feciously. I think it was highly inappropriate given the occasion! A black man was just sworn into the highest office in the land -- what was the point of going there? Could it be that all things racial gets a roaring applause (especially from black folks)? Can I get an AMEN, and AMEN, and AMEN! Racism is inevitable and perpetual especially for the likes of Rev. Lowery because he couldn't even get over it for an hour.

What It Means If Obama's Presidency Is Successful

Joseph Farah wrote an article on Worldnetdaily this morning entitled "Pray Obama Fails" . While I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Farah's article, I was not brave enough to re-title this blog post thusly. His title was just too brazen (even for me). Although Barack Obama is brazen in his intention to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) into law. FOCA creates a fundamental right to abortion by nullifying all state and federal laws that “interfere with” access to abortion before “viability” as determined by the abortion provider. FOCA would overturn partial- birth abortion bans, eliminate parental notification, and force taxpayers to fund abortion.
FOCA is extremely dangerous to those of us who uphold life. So I'm a bit sad that many Americans either don't know, don't care to know or don't care at all about the children who will be slaughtered in the years to come because "we have a black president" who will usher in abortion on demand. I'm sure you don't believe this so here's the video:

Mr. Farah writes:
"Many American Christians believe, as an article of faith, that we are to pray for the success of our leaders. It has become a sort of conventional wisdom among soft-minded believers. The biblical proof-text for this misguided way of thinking is Romans 13:1-4:
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. "Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. "For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: "For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."

What could be more clear-cut? At face value, it would seem the Bible is telling us government is a God-ordained good and that we are not to resist its terrors. Many a coward has been bolstered in his conviction against challenging tyranny by not reading too deeply into the Scriptures. Yet, nowhere does the Bible ever suggest evil rulers are to be obeyed. When the rule of men conflicts with the commands of God, the Bible leaves no doubt about where we should stand.
That's why I do not hesitate today in calling on godly Americans to pray that Barack Hussein Obama fail in his efforts to change our country from one anchored on self-governance and constitutional republicanism to one based on the raw and unlimited power of the central state. It would be folly to pray for his success in such an evil campaign.

I want Obama to fail because his agenda is 100 percent at odds with God's. Pretending it is not simply makes a mockery of God's straightforward Commandments.

So you will not see me joining in the ritual of affirming Obama and his mission in public or private prayer this week – or any other week.

Instead, I uphold the words of Jesus in Matthew 15:14: "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

And I take warning from Isaiah 9:16: "For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed."

And please don't tell me about "rendering unto Caesar." It's important to consider the circumstances and the audience behind Jesus' instructions to "render unto Caesar." The Sadducees were attempting to trap Jesus into advocating open contempt for Caesar. He recognized their wicked and hypocritical little game and answered them with a totally truthful response that astonished everyone.

But think about it. There are two components to Jesus' words. We are to "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's," but we are also to "render unto God the things that are God's." Well, everything ultimately belongs to God. But, most of all, this injunction by Jesus instructs us that government laws cannot trump God's laws – ever.

If government commands you to do evil, as a Christian you must resist. There is no alternative. Citing the "render unto Caesar" line is an apologetic for accountability to God – nothing more, nothing less.

Furthermore, it needs to be pointed out that in America we don't have a Caesar. Never have, never will. You see, our system of government is called a free republic, and it is based on the concept of constitutional self-government. We have no "rulers" in America – except ourselves and our God. We believe in the rule of law, not the rule of men.

This is an important distinction, not a semantic one.

Nowhere in the Bible does it teach us to obey evil rulers. Nowhere.

This is a time for principled biblical resistance, not phony Christian appeasement.

So, I'm asking you would profess that Jesus Christ is not only our Saviour but your Lord and your King...Are you really praying that Obama's presidency will be successful and if so by whose terms are you defining success?

Lisa Gladden Maryland State Senator An Obama Cultist

This idiotic Maryland State SENATOR says that it doesn't matter if Maryland is broke as long as Barack Obama is he 44th president. Let me reiterate, this SENATOR doesn't care that MD faces a 2 million dollar deficit, nor does she care that city employees will lose their jobs. All is well in the world because Obama will be President. Wow, I'm so glad that this pissant isn't my state Senator for she is truly deranged. I believe that she is an attorney so clearly at some point in time she was a logical person. I guess Colin Powell was correct Barack Obama is a transformative person -- he is transforming once intelligent black folks into idol-worshipping nincompoops.

Rush Limbaugh & Ann Coulter Deconstruct Liberal MSM Victimology

I caught the tail end of this at work yesterday and after reading the entire transcript decided that I would share the videos. (Before ya'll start screaming that Rush is a racist!!! -- I have been listening to this guy religiously for the last 4 years and I don't think he is however, I have no way of knowing what lies deep in the recesses of his heart but it isn't my business what's in his heart and besides he is less offensive to me than rappers, comedians and commentators who assault my intelligence and womanhood on BET and black radio stations.) That being said both Rush and Ann are "provocateurs" who profit from their superlative reasoning skills and political analysis. I don't begrudge them as someone has to be brave enough to tell the truth.

More "Pimpistry" From A "Man'd Of Gawd"

This video was posted on Youtube this week but it appears to be a couple of years old because the featured "Man'd of Gawd" Dr. Leroy Thompson is quite a bit grayer these days...Creflo Dollar makes a cameo appearance too......

I am praying that the Lord Jesus will come quickly because His people (I use that term loosely) are are so easily beguiled.

I Wondered How Long It Will Take For Obama To Receives Credit For The Miracle On The Hudson?

I wondered out loud this morning as I dropped Mini-me off how long it would be before PEBO gets credit for the "Miracle On The Hudson"? She was annoyed with me (as usual) -- she told me that it was too early in the morning and too soon after morning devotions to be so cynical. So I hung my head in shame thinking that I really need to get this snarkiness in check -- I have not exactly been spewing grace this week ( I'm sorry I called 78 year old Mr. Presley a fool).

Then lo and behold, I received one of those stupid “keep it going” emails from an Obama acolyte and I fought with every fiber of my being not to forward to Miss Mini-Me with " I TOLD YOU SO" in the subject line. So I've decided to just blog my angst away.

Here are the pictures within the email:

and:

And as if that were not bad enough I read an article this afternoon entitled Obama, Miracle on the Hudson and a Society of Collaborative Excellence by James Melamed . He writes:

What are the odds of Barack Obama becoming our President? His story is now our story. Obama’s election represents what is possible. Not what is normal nor what is expected, but what is possible.

And what are the odds of 155 passengers surviving a plane crash into the Hudson River? This is not everyday stuff. It is what is possible. It is what is best.

As the pilot saved so many lives, he also gifted so very much to the many thousands of husbands, wives, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends and colleagues who would have otherwise been so severely impacted. What a gift to thousands. This pilot deserves the highest medal we have. We should create a new medal for him, a medal for exceptional excellence.

As this pilot landed the plane without a life lost, especially just a few days before the Obama Inauguration, I can not help thinking of Obama as our pilot, the world’s pilot. While the future remains most challenging and highly uncertain, one just has a sense that, if anyone can land this plane, it will be Obama. How lucky we are to now not have ordinary leadership. How lucky we are that we have a fellow with so much competence and character. What are the odds? Whatever one’s party affiliation, I suggest that we as a nation are lucky to have a guy with the competence and cool that we now have “in the cockpit.” (Source)

Pardon me whilst I regurgitate that obtuse kah-hah!!! So, although I was a bit snarky this morning...I was on point as to the inner workings of the "Obama-manic" mind.

Zo Answers Bill O'Reilly's Question...

Do you hope Barack Obama succeeds?

Well, I never thought I would disagree with Zo on anything but if Barack Obama is successful then America will be a socialist country, health care will be universal (which means worst than it is now), and America's defense will be weakened. No, I don't hate Barack Obama, he is just a garden variety socialist and I fear what that means for this country. Socialism doesn't work-- never has and never will.

Constructive Feedbacks Asks: Are Black Americans in 200[9] an "Oppressed People"?

Constructive Feedback posted an article this morning on his blog Politics,Policy, Pathology and Hope Within The Black Community which asks are Black American an oppressed people in 200[9]. Actually, this is the general sentimemt I was attempting to convey albeit not as eruditely as CF in the No Fool Like an Old Fool post on Tuesday. CF structures questions which should be asked of those who believe that Black Americans are indeed oppressed which requires them to but forth empirical evidence of such a claim. He writes:

"All that needs to happen is to see "Negroes behaving badly" and then the "man on the street" reporter does a series of interviews asking "What is wrong with your people? Why are they acting this way?"

You won't need to listen too long before hearing something to the effect of "When a people are OPPRESSED as we are the begin go act out in such a way in which someone who LOOKS LIKE THEM becomes the enemy and they begin to destroy that threat because they are not able to destroy their real enemy - the system of White supremacy".

As I listen to the debate elements put forth by many Black people (and their White liberal emissaries seeking to "feel our pain" in exchange for our votes) I begin to understand the importance of having structured debate in which empirical evidence is required to confine people to the facts.

The claim "Some 'New Negroes' believe that there is no more racism today" is one of the more frequently used, fraudulent arguments. How do you prove a negative? Think about it - for their counter challenge to be correct it only takes one "toothless ignorant White man who lives in a shack" to commit an act of racism in Montana to have their claim proven correct. Their claim does not need to pass any type of proportionality or comprehensiveness test. Some of the logical questions that I have are:

  • Of the millions and millions of "Black/ White" interactions that happen in America on a daily basis - how many of them result in a "lynching"? Why is the exception so powerful if it is not the rule?
  • Of the points of racism that they do point to - How do we measure the full effect of these resistive forces upon the actual progress of Black people in 2009? Are their other, NON RACIAL forces that play a bigger factor today?
  • What does a "racist free" society look like in your estimation? Could you describe in explicit detail the conditions that must exist for you to remove the claim from your vocabulary?
  • As a follow up to the previous question: If we have in fact reached an "oppression free" society and yet there is STILL inequality between strata within the races - is it your opinion that the continuing disparities are proof of racism?
  • What if Black people are not willing to adopt many of the speculative elements of capitalism and institutionalization and thus are not able to generate wealth in their preferred economic system? Is this inequality "racism" or is it related to the prevailing economic system of choices?

In general there needs to be a more organized construct by which to evaluate such rants. I am not saying that there are no racists in America. I am not saying that some people do not look at race and use this as their primary reference for qualification of a person.

What I am saying is that I am not willing to index my own development upon the thoughts that a third party that I have no control over. Instead I focus on the framework of the LAW. Any violations of me as a Black man should be handled by law enforcement when my "civil rights" are violated. Beyond that I choose to look at what I am doing to make myself "equal" - or at least the results that I am able to obtain.

I am currently doing background research on a particular blogger who has an ideology that is "astro-spiritual" in nature. He refers to some majestic figure that we should keep in our honor. American capitalism focuses on individual greed according to his philosophy. He believes in a shared future. He is a socialist - bottom line.

If a person operates on this set of assumptions and another group of people are operating off of capitalism - lets even assume that they live on different ends of the country. Would it come as a surprise that our socialist friend would stake his claim upon their proceeds because of their common national membership? This comes despite his repudiation of their economic system. Functionally the government is a great "money launder" - able to take in "dirty capitalistic money" and wash it because it is put to good use. The good use is for his benefit.

This is why I say so frequently that the worst possible situation for some people to be in is ALL ALONE. In their current co-occupier position they are able to be the "moral compass" for the nation and the world. They are only able to maintain this position because of the economic and military resources that they often stand so soundly against. The segmentation that happens inside of this country as boundaries are formed by states, counties, cities and zipcodes. They are isolated in their own containers. After having built up their acumen on protesting against an external threat - the opportunity to execute upon a more organic strategy proves to be problematic.

They are unable to recognize the key function that their own economic order has in their current standing. In fact it is undemocratic to have them seek to impose a centralized restrictive order which would have the productive ends of one group of people to be confiscated and used for the ways that he desires. The migration of these people AWAY from him so that they can live as they choose, within a system of their own choosing should be respected.

I am not saying that there should be no taxes paid by this other group. I am saying that the underlying bias that is motivating this tax policy should NOT be one where this group is assumed to have done something wrong while the "Aggrieved Permanent Opposition" is made out to be the victim. His impoverished state but not his SYSTEM OF IDEOLOGY being used as evidence of his being wronged.

Nothing is going to fundamentally change among some people until they shift their focus from what others have as they figure out how to use the system of government to confiscate it. Instead they need to look at the standard that they desire to live at and make sure that their daily actions are most focused upon obtaining this standard in an ORGANIC method.

The first strategy will allow them to live at a higher standard in as much as the SYSTEM that redistributes their fortunes remains active. The second strategy will allow them to live at this higher standard because the standard is expressed by their own order of living and industry. (Constructive Feedback)

How is that for a kinder, gentler extremely rational way of saying nothing will change for us until we change our paradigm, stop looking for racism under every rock and take responsibility for our economic conditions. We are entitled to nothing but life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If we choose to pout because white folks may or may not like us then we will be "oppressed" forever. We live in a capitalist society (hopefully, it will remain so after PEBO's term(s) ) so we either need to get with the program and become producers or stop complaining about our supposed "oppression".

Zo Is Back!!! Spitting Mad Truth!

Zo posted this on YouTube a week ago! I have no idea how I missed it but here goes:

I LOVE HIM!!!!

Atlas Shrugged:From Fiction To Fact In 52 Years -- As Told By Steven Moore

I was chided this morning for being too partisan by a dear friend. I wrangled, ranted and raved that it is not a partisan issue for me so much as it is a worldview rather a political ideology. Well my argument was lost on him (sigh). But I ran across this Op-ed from Jan.9th WSJ (BTW, how great is it that we can subscribe to these daily feeds) Anyway, Mr. Moore's article brilliantly conveys what I couldn't regarding this troubling political culture we are facing. How could I have known as a high school senior that I would actually see the workings of this fictional work at play 27 years later (Thanks Mr. Calabrese for requiring that I read this book -- even though I hated it at the time I think it actually shaped my politics).

Mr Moore writes:
"Rand, who had come to America from Soviet Russia with striking insights into
totalitarianism and the destructiveness of socialism, was already a celebrity.
The left, naturally, hated her. But as recently as 1991, a survey by the Library
of Congress and the Book of the Month Club found that readers rated "Atlas" as
the second-most influential book in their lives, behind only the Bible.
For
the uninitiated, the moral of the story is simply this: Politicians invariably
respond to crises -- that in most cases they themselves created -- by spawning
new government programs, laws and regulations. These, in turn, generate more
havoc and poverty, which inspires the politicians to create more programs . . .
and the downward spiral repeats itself until the productive sectors of the
economy collapse under the collective weight of taxes and other burdens imposed
in the name of fairness, equality and do-goodism.
In the book, these
relentless wealth redistributionists and their programs are disparaged as "the
looters and their laws." Every new act of government futility and stupidity
carries with it a benevolent-sounding title. These include the "Anti-Greed Act"
to redistribute income (sounds like Charlie Rangel's promises soak-the-rich tax
bill) and the "Equalization of Opportunity Act" to prevent people from starting
more than one business (to give other people a chance). My personal favorite,
the "Anti Dog-Eat-Dog Act," aims to restrict cut-throat competition between
firms and thus slow the wave of business bankruptcies. Why didn't Hank Paulson
think of that?
These acts and edicts sound farcical, yes, but no more so
than the actual events in Washington, circa 2008. We already have been served up
the $700 billion "Emergency Economic Stabilization Act" and the "Auto Industry
Financing and Restructuring Act." Now that Barack Obama is in town, he will soon
sign into law with great urgency the "American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan."
This latest Hail Mary pass will increase the federal budget (which has already
expanded by $1.5 trillion in eight years under George Bush) by an additional $1
trillion -- in roughly his first 100 days in office.
The current economic
strategy is right out of "Atlas Shrugged": The more incompetent you are in
business, the more handouts the politicians will bestow on you. That's the
justification for the $2 trillion of subsidies doled out already to keep afloat
distressed insurance companies, banks, Wall Street investment houses, and auto
companies -- while standing next in line for their share of the booty are
real-estate developers, the steel industry, chemical companies, airlines,
ethanol producers, construction firms and even catfish farmers. With each
successive bailout to "calm the markets," another trillion of national wealth is
subsequently lost. Yet, as "Atlas" grimly foretold, we now treat the incompetent
who wreck their companies as victims, while those resourceful business owners
who manage to make a profit are portrayed as recipients of illegitimate

I wasn't able to quietly sit with my earbuds and listen to Mark Levin last night...but I listened this morning and WOW.... I thought I'd share....(It's an hour long but worth hearing IMHO)
"On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show: Where is the criticism about Obama’s Cabinet
appointees? And why aren’t Republicans standing up to them? We know that
the liberal media won’t go after Obama, but now even so-called conservatives
are
giving into him. We don’t have an effective response to the liberal
propaganda,
and this must change. Pseudo - Republicans are undermining the
conservative
cause and compromising the principles that brought America to
the great country
that it is today. Mark also discusses Obama’s health care
proposal, and the
effect it will have regarding illegal immigration. We will
have rampant
immigration problems if America is seen as a country where
every one can get
nationalized health care."

No Fool Like An Old Fool...78 Year Old Says Obama Is His Moses

78 year old James Presley a grandson of slaves describes Barack Obama as his Moses. I'm sure this man has many redeeming qualities he has been married to the same woman for 57 years, he appears to have lived an upstanding Christian life, but if he managed to get to the ripe old age of 78 and is still looking for Moses to lead him to the promise land then he is just foolish. First of all, God didn't promise to send another Moses--although he said that there would be an "anti-christ" who would fool the very elect (but, Obama is too obviously counterfeit to be the anti-christ). Mr. Presley says:

"Presley says the fact the nation will have a black president will have a ripple effect in poor communities like his. For the first time ever, he says, black parents and grandparents can tell youngsters in rural America that through education, anything is possible -- that the White House isn't just for white folks."(Read full article here)

I have said before that this is so sad. Has Black America been so despairing and hopeless that they haven't been telling their children that they can achieve anything? If so, what does that say about us as parents? Is Mr. Presley not inadvertently saying that white parents are better parents because PEBO's mama was white and clearly she encouraged him to excel in all of his endeavors.

I'm sickened by Mr. Presley's mantra and all the weeping black folks. Ok, I get that this is historic and we never thought we would see the day but the day has come and it's no deeper that that. We still have work to do for ourselves -- PEBO has promised us nothing. Hope and change are not strategies its just the rhetoric he used to "inspire" your dumb behinds to vote for him. So be inspired and get off your azzes waiting for Massah PEBO (Moses) to give you scrapes from his table. We look like such a weak, impotent, ass-backward people when we say such things. I don't believe that we are, I don't even believe Mr. Presley is weak -- but he is foolish as hell if he actually believes that PEBO is "our" Moses.

There are thousands of Mr. Presleys who raised their children, husbanded their wives worked and provided for their families. My Grand-daddy was one of them and they are un-sung heroes. But I seriously doubt that my "Poppie" would be duped by PEBO. He may have voted for him just to "give the black guy a chance" but I'm convinced he wouldn't be looking for PEBO to make an impact on his life or the lives of his family because he saw that as HIS job.

Afterthought: That CNN Producer Mr. Drash is a metaphor for the Democratic Party. He is singing Mr. Presley's praises because he has been a compliant Negro. He didn't get all uppity and leave the plantation....No, no, no he stayed and farmed cotton on the plantation of the white man who enslaved his ancestors. Do you get it? Mr. Drash lifts him up as an un-sung hero --throws a few scraps his way. That's exactly how the Democratic party wants us to be. Compliant, dumb and dependent not uppity... be happy because we have given you a black president (a mere ort), and we are about to give you a $700 stimulus -- we love you so... and we are so jubliant....."thank ya so much for recognizin' we Mistah Charlie"

The View Panelist Can't Handle The Truth But Ann Coulter Gives It As Usual.

I am an Ann Coulter fan. I know that her delivery isn't flowery and politically correct but I love the way she handles herself in interviews. She ruffled the feathers of The View women. A friend of mine felt that Ann got the "beat-down" but I think she gave it to that cackle of geese straight with no chaser. I have not yet read her new book Guilty but if it's anything like the rest I'm sure I will love it!

Well, Whoopi and Joy true to form illustrate their deftness and liberal irrationality. Shari was Shari--clueless and unoriginal with her question about being a part of the solution. However, Ann nailed it pointing out that compassion over the last 40 years has only produced more "victims". Elizabeth was surprisingly hostile to Ann ( I can't wait to catch her on Hannity tonight to find out exactly why she had a wild hair up her butt) Notice how Ann was not allowed to complete a sentence -- typical liberal strategy. My goodness this is going to be a long 4 years.
