Obama's Own Speech Writer Is Voting For McCain....

Seriously if you are not convinced that Barack Obama is an empty suit spewing empty rhetoric by the fact that his own speech writer is voting for McCain then you are in serious denial. Wendy Button, who has written for Barack Obama, John Edward, Hillary Clinton and even Michelle Obama is done with the democratic party. Please read this "So Long, Democrats" as it is too long to post here in it's entirety. But here are a few noteworthy thoughts Wendy Button penned:

"This drift started on a personal level with the fall of former Senator John Edwards. It got stronger during the Democratic National Convention when I counted the substantive mentions of poverty on one hand and a whole bunch of bad canned partisan lines against Senator John McCain. Some faith was lifted after Senator Hillary Clinton’s grace during a difficult hour. But that faith was dashed when I saw that someone had raided the Caligula set and planted the old columns at Invesco Field."

"Our economy is in the tank for many complicated reasons, especially because people don’t have enough money. So let them keep it. Let businesses keep it so they can create jobs and stay here and weather this storm. And yet, the Democratic ideology remains the same. Our approach to problems—big government solutions paid for by taxing the rich and big and smaller companies—is just as tired and out of date as trickle down economics. How about a novel approach that simply finds a sane way to stop the bleeding?"

"Governor Palin and I don’t agree on a lot of things, mostly social issues. But I have grown to appreciate the Governor. I was one of those initial skeptics and would laugh at the pictures. Not anymore. When someone takes on a corrupt political machine and a sitting governor, that is not done by someone with a low I.Q. or a moral core made of tissue paper. When someone fights her way to get scholarships and work her way through college even in a jagged line, that shows determination and humility you can’t learn from reading Reinhold Niebuhr. When a mother brings her son with special needs onto the national stage with love, honesty, and pride, that gives hope to families like mine as my older brother lives with a mental disability. And when someone can sit on a stage during the Sarah Palin rap on Saturday Night Live, put her hands in the air and watch someone in a moose costume get shot—that’s a sign of both humor and humanity. Has she made mistakes? Of course, she’s human too. But the attention paid to her mistakes has been unprecedented compared to Senator Obama’s “57 states” remarks or Senator Biden using a version of the Samuel Johnson quote, “There’s nothing like a hanging in the morning to focus a man’s thoughts.”"

"I can no longer justify what this party has done and can’t dismiss the treatment of women and working people as just part of the new kind of politics. It’s wrong and someone has to say that. And also say that the Democratic Party’s talking points—that Senator John McCain is just four more years of the same and that he’s President Bush—are now just hooker lines that fit a very effective and perhaps wave-winning political argument…doesn’t mean they’re true. After all, he is the only one who’s worked in a bipartisan way on big challenges."

Let me reinterate this is Barack Obama's speech writer!!! She was totally entrenched in the Democratic party and she is telling us what the party has become. Wake the hell up people!

The Penultimate Words on Barack Obama As Told By COBB

I just read this post by Cobb at http://cobb.typepad.com/ what a brilliant assessment in my opinion:

"I am completely reconciled to the likelihood that Barack Obama will win the Presidency this fall. My campaigning against him continues and my disagreements with him, I will continue to make clear. While I cannot say with any certainty that I could be convincing on the broad variety of reasons I have to oppose his campaign I am very clear in the way I see him.
I think that a startling number of people who support Obama do so on the basis of his personal appeal with no regard or consideration of the history of the pedigree of his philosophy. They are ahistorical and show no intellectual curiosity when it comes to the principles underlying his promise of 'fundamental change'. They buy naively into narratives about the destruction of America that has no window beyond a twisted interpretation of what has transpired over the past 8 years. Whether the subject is war, diplomacy, tax policy, or the very capacity to build a public Ministry of Health - they are invested in the narrative of change which seeks to cast cynical shadows on the unique strengths of American institutions and an almost mystical belief in his ability to turn the ship of state on a dime.
Worse, supporters of this Democrat have completely ignored advice from the man who has become the grey eminence of their ticket, Joe Biden who said:
Mike Mansfield, a former leader of the Senate, said to me one day -- he -- I made a criticism of Jesse Helms. He said, "What would you do if I told you Jesse Helms and Dot Helms had adopted a child who had braces and was in real need?" I said, "I'd feel like a jerk."
He said, "Joe, understand one thing. Everyone's sent here for a reason, because there's something in them that their folks like. Don't question their motive."
I have never since that moment in my first year questioned the motive of another member of the Congress or Senate with whom I've disagreed. I've questioned their judgment.
I think that's why I have the respect I have and have been able to work as well as I've been able to have worked in the United States Senate. That's the fundamental change Barack Obama and I will be bring to this party, not questioning other people's motives.
They have injected the presumption of racial bigotry on their opponents.
It doesn't surprise me that the man who has raised the greatest amount of money in the history of presidential fundraising has been able to persuade masses of Americans. He has used television, radio, the internet, cell phones and even put billboards of himself inside of popular videogames. He has used skill and bravura to enhance his image not only in America but overseas as well. Photographic images of Obama in every possible flattering situation have flooded emails. Any unflattering image of the man is met with vehement charges of racism and deception.
Barack Obama is a man of the people who has appeared very suddenly onto the national scene and taken the country by storm at a time when people are insecure in their economic future, concerned about victory or failure at war and divided in their political loyalties as well as their fundamental beliefs in the proper direction for the nation. Obama has very cleverly situated himself as the conduit for change for an electorate which is frantic and agitated - not on the basis of fundamental philosophical agreement, but on faith in him as a change agent.
Very few people can say with any certitude what Barack Obama can or will do as President. He is very guarded and defensive, as are his supporters, about his background. And as a young man with less experience in national and world affairs than most any candidate in history, we have much more to learn about him.
Such difficulty I have with my perceptions of the Obama parade are typical of the kind of conservative I am. I don't expect that America will overnight or any time soon snap into a tight moral reasoning in their politics. I don't expect it on matters of racism, war and peace, job and family or education and religion. We have the public we have, and we have the political equilibrium that we do counting all the forces in this nation. It is not for me to suggest we have a better public, it is for me to deal with the public we have and to understand when they are motivated to do well or do otherwise - to ride the proper wave or to get out of the way and watch my back. It is eternally my hope that the strength and beauty of the system of justice we possess and the values underlying the defense of liberty are well understood, but that is a lifetime pursuit which is only marginally perturbed by popular elections.
As for the man himself, I very strongly believe that Barack Obama through his associations with radicals and socialists be they individuals or organizations has come to the realization of the very concrete limits of radical politics in America. After all, he left ineffective grass roots community organizing to attend Harvard Law. I think in that very specific and thoroughly Leftist and socialist way Obama shares a great deal in common with the politics of those his recent success has allowed him to leave behind. For a man as intelligent and ambitious as Barack Obama, there are no coincidences. Not in choice of political party, not in choice of backers, not in choice of churches, not in choice of legislative focus. There is a pattern and logic at work behind the rhetoric. These are details I think only his opponents wish to see clearly for the express purpose of situating Obama with his peers in world history. For it is America's place in world history that ought to be the ultimate concern of those who would be President. I am convinced that Barack Obama is not so concerned with America's role in the world so much as he is with the fate of the lower classes in America. This for me is the mightiest strike against him - not because I don't care for the fate of the lowly but because I recognize that the direction of the great is the most important factor in everyone's fate. Obama's solicitations to those, the least of his brothers at the expense of the great, gives me little confidence he will steer the ship of America in a way to insure its greatness.
A candidate with more seasoning and experience inside Washington would give someone like me less reason to be concerned. But I am particularly wary, in a way that I think I have learned the hard way with George W. Bush, of the particular influence of ideologues and partisans on the man in the Oval Office. Barack Obama, like no other candidate, seems to me to be the one who will depend most on Washington insiders to assist in crafting his agenda and enforcing his will. He will be a great prince in a warren of conniving viziers, not the least of whom is his running mate who has already rebuffed him in several dimensions. During this time of extraordinary and unprecedented change and chaos in financial markets, such concerns are hightened. I have no reason to believe that Obama will be more or less lucky or prescient than George W. Bush was on 9/12, but you can be sure that we will hear about it loudly should he win the Oval Office.
I have a great deal of confidence in this nation, and I expect that Obama would be an adequate president. But I don't forsee him doing a much better job of uniting the nation than Bush did. I believe that the presidency of Bill Clinton will be most instructive and will be the precedent for a President Obama. Nobody will simply 'move on'. Unity will come from events and from the bottom up, not from the top down as Obama's charismatic campaign seems to imagine. After the honeymoon is over and those young people energized by the war of campaigning go about their business, it will be as they said in Lawrence of Arabia: Young men make wars and the virtues of war are the virtues of young men: courage and hope for the future. Then old men make the peace, and the vices of peace are the vices of old men: mistrust and caution. I for one will be such an old man in the peace following election day whichever way it goes. I would of course rather have such an old man as John McCain who would share my mistrust and caution. But I'm ready for the alternative"
- Cobb (emphasis mine)

Well, I have not resolved the proposition that Barack Obama will win this election. It's possible but it isn't over until it's over despite what MSM would have you believe. Plus, I met a group of PUMA's (Party Unity My Ass) last night (shout out to Matt, Philip and MommaE on the My 2 Cents Blog Talk Radio Show) and they are so not voting for Obama.

One Last Rant From ZO before 11/4

Here is the latest rant ala Zo and I implore you please pass this video along. Zo breaks these issues down like fractions -- one would have to have an IQ just slightly above plant life not to understand these issues the way he presents them. So, for those of you who have drunk the Obama Kool-aid please take 10 mins (if you haven't already voted) and give serious consideration to the possiblity that you may be mistaken in your assumptions about this election.

P.S. for my sensitive readers I'm not saying you have a low I.Q. if you are a democrat with an informed opinion. However if you are a democrat and not quite sure why -- then I think the shoe fits and I'm pretty much assailing your intelligence quotient.

Barack Obama: 1995 Interview

Barack talks about Rev. Wright in 1995 interview after writing "Dreams of My Father". Note that he considers Rev. Wright to be the "best that the black church has to offer"...Wow!

Bazarro World Revealed On the The Black Sphere

Kevin Jackson blogger at www.theblackshere.blogspot.com wrote an amazing expose of the world as he sees it called "Bizarro World" he writes:

"DC Comics could have never predicted that the fictitious Bizarro World would indeed come to pass in 2008. The idea is so far out there, that one would find it…bizarre.
Bizarro World is the world of "Htrae" ("Earth" spelled backwards), where society is ruled by the Bizarro Code: "Us do opposite of all Earthly things! Us hate beauty! Us love ugliness! Is big crime to make anything perfect on Bizarro World!"
There is an episode in Bizarro World where a salesman has a great business selling Bizarro bonds: "Guaranteed to lose money for you". It is easy to see what DC Comics likely thought was a fictitious, weird place in the universe. However, when you analyze America today, one can conclude that the nonsensical Bizarro World has become our bizarre reality.
So we begin our analysis by examining the Financial Crisis of 2008.
First, the truth is that it is the Democrats are chiefly responsible for the financial crisis, and they have created our Bizarro World. I won't take you through my normal history lesson, as most of you have been deluged by the facts. However I will outline a few relevant facts:
Fact – Jimmy Carter signed into law the Community Reinvestment Act (1977), authorizing loans be made available to low-income households
Fact – Clinton repeals Glass-Stegall and reduces reserve requirements with Fed bank
Fact – Obama the lawyer threatens lawsuits against institutions for not making suspect loans
Fact – Obama (Dem) receives 2nd most PAC money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Fact – Dodd (Dem) receives the most PAC money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Fact – The Democrats thwarted any and all legislation to put controls on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, though Republicans were initiating it
Fact – Barney Frank (Dem) was the Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee during this time and has been on the committee for ten years...oh, and Frank received the 3rd most money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Now this is enough evidence for any reasonable person to concede that the Democrats are chiefly to blame, though I defy you to find me a reasonable Democrat, for that is truly an oxymoron. So using logic, ask yourself, "If a Republican was to blame, given the temperament of the Democrats who control both Houses of Congress, and who wanted to impeach Bush for "war crimes", then why hasn't a Republican been drawn and quartered?" Surely there is some Republican for the Democrats to drag behind a truck through the streets of Washington DC. Let me answer my rhetorical question: No Republican has been dragged, because there isn't one to drag.
And because we are in "Bizarro World", Obama has convinced America that it is George Bush's fault and then tied the 800-pound gorilla on McCain's back, when both Bush and McCain warned of the crisis as early as 2004! Since we are in Bizarro World, I must say…"Well done, Obama!"
But there is more to Bizarro World. Where else can you grow up with work ethic, study hard in school, get good grades, and land yourself a good job, only to be called a racist, self-indulgent son-of-swine? And if you advance to ownership, then you are scum for breaking the backs of the poor Bizarro World non-worker. Since we are in Bizarro World, I say…"Shame on you, you hardworking, college-educated person of character".
Bizarro World is a world, where known terrorists are freed, and innocent babies are killed. So in Bizarro World, you can blow up police stations and commit other acts of terror, and be lauded as a citizen, and be given lots of money by the government, and then allowed to teach others of your disdain for the government at the University of Illinois, where you will be lauded as one of Bizarro World's finest professors. Such is Bizarro World.
But woe be to the innocent babies, because they hate innocence in Bizarro World.
But there is more to Bizarro World. Bizarro World is the only place in the universe where you can be lazy, actually encouraged not to work, have six children by four "baby's mama's", and you will not be required to pay child support.
In Bizarro World the government will dispatch your checks to you twice a month, because you needn't get up from your rest. So can you sit leisurely in your government subsidized air-conditioned or heated home, eating government provided food, watching cable TV in your $100 Nikes, your $50 jeans, your $350 "throw-back" Jersey, while talking in intelligible language on your cell phone, playing on your PlayStation, with an iPod and keys to your tricked-out Lexus in your pocket. Since we are in Bizzaro World, I say…"Touché, you lazy Knucklehead. Well done!" But there is more to Bizarro World.
In Bizarro World, if you molest a child, they send you to a spa for a month for rehab, and then celebrate your release. Job you say? Well why not work at a day-care center. Because in Bizarro World, everybody deserves a second chance [to molest a child].
In the real world, a criminal breaks into your home, rapes your cat, and steals your loot, you shoot him, he's arrested, tried by a jury of his peers, then sent to jail, hopefully to be tormented as he tormented your cat.
But in Bizarro World, in the same scenario, the criminal is not arrested, you are. Then you are sued by the criminal for violating his rights to steal your loot, lose your home to the criminal, while the criminal marries your cat. Congratulations to the miscreant, and welcome to Bizarro World…oh, and let's not forget to welcome him to your family. As for you, well now you're getting what the cat got from the criminal! Our criminal is now an outstanding citizen of Bizarro World!
In the real world, one learns a craft, and works at a job for many years, in order to gain true expertise. However in Bizarro World, you can get hired at a junior level, go on sabbatical for 18 months to write a book, return for six months, and then ask to be made president. Not president of the company, silly, but of the United States! Since we are in Bizarro World, I say…"Well done, Smooth Criminal!"
And finally, in Bizarro World the president can hang out with criminals, and terrorists who surprisingly are mostly university professors. In Bizarro World the president hates the country, and he demonstrates it during the pledge of Allegiance, as he doesn't put his hand over his heart, nor does he show any patriotism, like wearing an American flag on his lapel, unless it is upside down! And in Bizarro World, the president disregards the Constitution.
Welcome to the new world that is America.
Welcome to Bizarro World…Have a crappy day! "- Kevin Jackson (emphasis mine)

That would be pretty darn funny were it not true. What a sad commentary on our world. Kevin's post reminds me of a funny little recitation my mother would give when she thought someone was full of sh*t -- "I come before you, to stand behind you, to tell you something I know nothing about, the admission is free, so pay at the door grab a seat and sit on the floor and now I bring you the four corners of the round table...." Lately whenever I'm watching an interview where Barack Obama is asked a direct question I think of that little ditty.

Must Read....The Trojan Candidate

I just read an amazing article about Sen. Barack Obama called the "Trojan Candidate" written by Dr. Kate. I immediately contacted her and she has agreed to join me on the CBW Roundtable on Saturday, Nov. 1st @ 8:00 pm EST. Here is the article it's long but well worth the read:

Here is a link to Saturday's show (You don't want to miss this)

Listen to Conservative Black Woman on internet talk radio

Will The Real Racist Please Stand Up

More wisdom from my brother from another mother (that's code for white people I agree with) at TSF Protests :

"The phony racist charges from the liberal Black leaders are ludicrous. The liberal Black leaders are the exhibitors of racism today. They are the separatists today. They are the community that simply refuses to assimilate into America. They are the ones who do not want to engage this system. They thumb their noses at whites that by and large are bending over backwards for them and it is never enough and never accepted. It appears that Liberal Blacks want to be miserable. What else can explain supporting blood suckers like Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan? These people would not exist if the Black community succeeds. And Black politicians like Maxine Waters and a host of others exalt in their hatred of white people and all of the community cheers them on. And why are 70% of abortion clinics in Black communities? You know darn sure the Republicans did not put them there. Why do Blacks want to kill Blacks? We, of the racist conservative communities don't want to kill Black people. We actually want them to succeed.Even Colin Powell accuses conservatives falsely. He also did the same thing at the Republican convention in 2000. He basically called the Republican Party racist in his speech. I couldn't believe what I heard. I thought he was a Democrat plant then. Now I am wondering if he was in reality a Black Nationalist but kept it hidden, until a Barack Obama appeared on the scene. Now he has cover. But the charges are ridiculous. Hate between races is nothing new. Mankind of all colors and all people are sinners, and haters. The first son, Cain, killed his own brother, Abel. Hate is nothing new. And it shouldn't be elevated to special status when Blacks are involved. They hate just as much as the rest of the human race. They are still enslaving each other in Africa today. Whites have stopped that horrid practice. Or listen to the language in any Black family. Listen to how they speak to each other. It is just as nasty and just as nice as white families. Whites hate their own and Blacks hate their own and we all hate our neighbors. Blacks are not special people and should get over their elitism. The whining is suffocating us.We will not remove sin from ourselves, much less from each other, until Christ returns. But we can serve each other as sinners, giving forgiveness to each other and ourselves, since Christ died for us, to forgive sins. As far as the Scriptures are concerned, Christ died for sinners, not good people, much less victims. Christians should know this. Obama does claim to be a Christian.Obama has nothing to offer the country at this time. He simply must mature and stop blaming others for the sin that clings to all of us. Therefore, we will never have perfect leaders, but must choose intelligently seeking to preserve the American system we were given. If Obama does not like the American system he should move. He speaks in un-American terms so we should fight and vote against him."

I know racism exists and the low-rent, inbred, meth-addicted skinheads who planned to assassinate Obama and and behead 88 black people are reminders of that -- but I think it's clear that America is on the mend as evidenced by the "transformative" Barack Obama's meteoric political ascension.

I Am Perplexed...

I am perplexed by my people (black folks) as I keep hearing parents on television repeating a mantra which in effect says that because of Barack Obama's very likely Presidency that they can tell their children that they can be what ever they want to be and can achieve anything. This makes me want to scream!!!!! It's 2008 Jim Crow laws have been abolished. We have punked and guilted white people into "lowering the bar" (yeah, I'm talking about affirmative action) to let us into colleges, grad schools, corporations etc. etc. and you still didn't believe that your children could achieve great heights in their chosen career paths? What the hell?

I feel sorry for the children of these simple-azz people who get on television and repeat that "step and fetch it" mantra. You mean that you haven't been encouraging your children until Barack Obama came on to the scene? Until then you have been serving them healthy portions of "victim stew" with a side of "woe is me" is that what you are saying? Perhaps that's why we are at the bottom of every single demographic, because we don't believe in ourselves or our children apparently. Well, if that's the case then thank God for Barack Obama the great "Black Hope". Shameful......

Even More Hope-O-Crisy Revealed...

Remember the Sen. Obama's campaign ad accusing Sen. McCain of not supporting equal pay for equal work for women? Well guess who has a disparity in salaries between male and females staffers in favor of males? You guess it --Sen. Obama....

"The most recent statistics are for the half-year from Oct. 1, 2007 to March 31, 2008, excluding interns and focusing on full-time personnel. For someone who worked only until, say, last Feb. 29, extrapolating up to six months' service simplifies this analysis. Doubling these half-year figures illustrates how a year's worth of Senate employees' paychecks should look.
Based on these calculations, Obama's 28 male staffers divided among themselves total payroll expenditures of $1,523,120. Thus, Obama's average male employee earned $54,397.
Obama's 30 female employees split $1,354,580 among themselves, or $45,152, on average."
Source

Whoa, that means that Obama's female staffers earn .83 for every $1.00 male staffers earn!

How does Sen. McCain stack up?

"McCain's 17 male staffers split $916,914, thus averaging $53,936. His 25 female employees divided $1,396,958 and averaged $55,878.
On average, according to these data, women in John McCain's office make $1.04 for every dollar a man makes. In fact, all other things being equal, a typical female staffer could earn 21 cents more per dollar paid to her male counterpart -- while adding $10,726 to her annual income -- by leaving Barack Obama's office and going to work for John McCain."Source

So Sen. McCain female staffers earn $1.04 for every $1.00 male staffers earn.

But none of this really matters to Obama acolytes who can't be bothered with the facts as it interferes with their "high". In-frikin-credible!!!!

Powerful isn't it?

Joe The Plumber Figures It Out...When Will You?

I just received this Spotlight(email) from Townhall.com written by Scott Wheeler Executive Director of the National Republican Trust PAC there was more to it but here is the gist:

"Obama Lie No. 1 — I will tax just the rich.
There is no such thing as a tax on just the rich. Taxes on wealthy people affect everyone.
Remember, Obama defines anyone making over $90,000 a year as "rich."
Joe the plumber discovered that Obama thinks Joe's rich too. Under Obama, he won't be able to hire new employees and grow his business.
Joe's not alone. Obama says he'll strip away the FICA cap at $90,000 for every worker. That means every dollar you earn over that amount, you'll pay 7 percent!

Obama Lie No. 2 — I want to give a tax cut to the middle class.
Baloney!
Obama says he will let the Bush tax cuts expire. That's an automatic 5 percent (maximum) tax increase on almost all taxpayers.
Plus middle class folks pay capital gains taxes. Obama has said he wants to almost double them from a low of 15 percent to almost 30 percent.
He wants to hike the dividend tax, and he also has promised taxes on gas and energy.
Obama also wants to dramatically increase the estate tax, which had almost disappeared. There goes your idea of sharing your wealth with your kids in the future.

Obama Lie No. 3 — I want to make America more secure.
Another outright lie.
In an age when crazies like Iran 's Ahmadinejad are building ballistic missiles and promise to "destroy" the United States and Israel , Obama has promised to gut the missile defense program created by President Reagan.
"I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems," Obama said.
He has promised to cut "tens of billions" of dollars from the Defense Department. In an effort to make us more "secure," Obama plans to disarm us.
In the age of 9/11 can we afford such a radical Leftist in the White House?
No, we can't. "

He goes on to say that:

"Obama is not just a danger to our economy, with his plans to raise taxes and spend $800 billion in new programs.
He is a radical out to reshape America beyond recognition.
He is so radical he even backed driver's licenses for illegal aliens — even though such a move would help future terrorists move freely in the United States .
Even Hillary Clinton opposed his radical plan.
But Obama not only touted such a plan running for president, he pushed for giving illegals driver's licenses as a state senator in Illinois .
He is also the most pro-abortion candidate in the history of the country. In 2001, as a state legislator in Illinois , he opposed a bill to protect live-born children — children actually born alive! He was the only Illinois senator to speak out against the bill. "

If you are thinking that you still don't give a rat's azz about any of this because you don't make anywhere near $90,000 per year and you are happy to get a tax credit, tax cut who cares what it's called as long as you get a check during tax season -- be forewarned all that glitters isn't gold. Is an extra $300-$500 really worth the layoffs, hiring freezes, and higher prices which will extend well beyond the tax season? Leona Hemsley (the billionairist) once said "Wealthy people don't pay taxes" she's right -- the proletariats (working class folks- aka YOU) do. As for those of you who surmise that the economy is already in the toilet and think that it can't getting any worse -- I submit that it can and will get much, much worse!!! Check out http://www.miseryindex.us/
to see for yourself just how bad inflation and unemployment can get when we have a democratic POTUS.

It's Not What They Call You It's What You Answer To...

I think that I have offended some of my readers for referring to black democrats as "Plantation Negroes" and accused them of being steeped in ignorance and/or victimology (I made this word up) . Let me be clear, if that description does not apply to you then I'm not talking about you. I am talking about black people who pledge blind allegiance to a party knowing nothing about the racist history of that party and who believe that the democratic party is somehow a party that cares about the needs of black folk. So, if you are not pledging blind allegiance and you are firmly footed in the democratic party because you have made an informed decision then why, pray tell are you angry with me?

I am called a self-hating, uncle tom, uppity Negress (although I like that one and may start another blog with that title) bougie, white acting b**tch on the daily. These names roll off my back because I absolutely adore myself and my people. I just detest willful ignorance in any color. But it's just like our parents used to tell us when we were called names by our peers... "It ain't what they call you -- it's what you answer to." I must scurry along now as I need to reserve that blog. I will answer to uppity negress-- Martin Luther King was called uppity you know. Hell they call Barack and Michelle uppity so I'm in pretty good company.

P.S The Uppity Negress has been birthed. You can check her out at http://theuppitynegress.blogspot.com/

A Different Strategy...

Cobb, one the the most brilliant writers and analytical brothers in the blogsphere just posted an article on his blog at www.cobb.typepad.com that should be read in its entirety. Basically he opines that the Republican Right which he affectionately dubs are "Righties" (at least I think its affectionately) are fighting a losing battle and suffering from "intellectual constipation" by continually using the following buzz words and talking points and suggests that we should find an alternate stategy to overcome the opposition, he writes:

"The following words have entirely lost their meaning, and all thoughtful Righties are hereby urged to dig deeply and find an alternate path in your opposition:
Ayers
ACORN
Joe The Plumber
Partial-Birth
Socialist
You Betcha
Rezko
Obama's Citizenship
Hussein
Muslim"

He then suggests an alternate strategy should be employed and writes:

"Use the size of your opponents army as a force against him. Barack Obama has made more money campaigning for the Office of President than any man alive or dead. He is a master propagandist. His appeal is singular and in order for him to win, you have to bleed him from 80 orifices all at once. If you attack him from all sides, he has to dilute the momentum of his mass by handling all the pesterization. What John McCain needs to do right now is raise 15 important issues that Obama has said nothing about that an experienced Washington insider knows everything about. Then watch him try to marshall his huge army of partisans around policy positions that Obama hasn't articulated. We understand that Obama has exploited his personal appeal to a broad coalition, but nobody on our side trusts his ability to deal with the complexities of the Oval Office. So why the hell are we talking about Joe the freakin' plumber instead of the complexities of the Oval Office? "

Get Your Drawers Out of A Knot..You Will Still Be Able To Legally Kill Your Babies

A sudden horrifying thought occurred to me that perhaps people actually believe that if for some reason McCain should win and appoints Supreme Courts justices who could possibly overturn Roe Vs. Wade that abortions would be illegal. I called a friend who is always screaming "Its my damn body!" and "What about cases or rape and incest?" and that is indeed what she thought. Well, that is not the case, the decision to restrict or prohibit abortions will be turned over to the individual states. You won't have to go into back alleys and get disemboweled with a coat hanger. Happy now? Take a deep cleansing breath....
(Honestly, how could you not know this? Isn't the Roe Vs. Wade case covered in high school government class?)

The Defining Last 72 (Actually 96) Hours

I read this post this morning on Media Lizzy's blog and it sums up pretty much what I have been feeling regarding McCain/Palin ticket but unable (actually unwilling would be more accurate) to articulate. It was posted by OxyChaz at http://www.medializzy.wordpress.com/

"Hello all,

Well, the last 72 hours have been quite the roller coaster. At this point, I’m pretty much ready to concede this election. We’ve seen some pretty serious developments on the national scene that have started putting the final nails in the McCain-Palin coffin.

1.) Sarah Palin on SNL (minor)
2.) Colin Powell’s endorsement of Sen. Barak Obama (major)
3.) Sarah Palin taking hard to the right and publicly breaking w/ Sen. McCain’s stance on the Federal Marriage Amendment (important) on Pat Robertson’s “700 Club” news-show.

Governor Palin really didn’t have anything to gain going on Saturday Night Live. And anything she could have gotten out of it she squandered. Instead of engaging in any kind of self-defecating humor herself, she just sat there and let others piss all over her while she just sat there and grooved along with it. Granted, it was funny as hell, but it didn’t achieve anything that it could - and should - have.

The major development of the week however was former US Joint Chief’s General Colin Powell’s endorsement of Senator Obama. To realize the importance of this, one must first examine the role that this hero plays in Republican Party and the electorate in general.

Gen. Powell has been recognized as a leader of the Republican “moderate” segment of the Party. He was forced out of the White House, lied to, and “hung out to dry” by Karl Rove and company. He’s lucky he got out with some of his integrity still intact. And knowing what we know now about Iraq, he’s the ONLY one who came out smelling like roses. Powell is a Republican. He’s generally politically moderate, and highly respected - and since he’s not really caught up with a.) the President, b.) any failures within the Party, and c.) any kind of scandals - he’s got total name recognition and real “street cred.”

So at this time, Gen. Powell’s endorsement is huge for two reasons:
1.) It gives moderate (or “sober”…use whatever you’d like) Republicans “permission” to vote for Obama. Powell made the case…most of it irrefutable…as to why a conscientious conservative & Republican can vote for Obama.

2.) It gives permission for military vets to vote for Obama. Powell, in many ways, can be considered the “top vet”, given his former job as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. His endorsement paves the way for other veterans who would otherwise vote for McCain strictly on the “veteran card” to consider Obama and not feel like a traitor. Why is this important? Oh, well…maybe the HUGE population of vets in states like Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio…you know…all those states that McCain MUST WIN for him to capture the presidency.

The Federal Marriage Amendment is a tricky subject. Well, it’s actually not. Anybody who takes a Civics class knows the clause in the US Constitution that states that any issue not specifically enumerated in the Constitution is left in the pervue of the states. Like marriage. And drivers licenses. It’s a really easy out for Republicans who don’t want to get caught up in the gay debate. Vote no on the FMA b/c you support state’s rights and this takes rights away from the state. That’s what Senator McCain said, and how he voted…twice…in the Senate. He’s been a LONG adversary of the FMA - it’s one of the cornerstones to his “Maverick” image.

So yesterday Sarah Palin goes on “The 700 Club” (all news, all “right”, all the time) on the Christian Broadcasting Network (Pat Robertson) and comes out in favor of a constitutional ban on gay marriage (FMA) - in total opposition to Senator McCain’s stance.

We are 14 days out from the election. What the HELL is Palin doing coming out and publicly breaking with her ticket-leader’s stance on such a controversial social issue?

And what did it achieve? Absolutely NOTHING. She didn’t convince ANY person who wasn’t going to vote for her already to do so. Her credentials are so strong on the abortion issue that she has solidified the “social conservative” constituency within the electorate (and Party). Hard as a rock. She didn’t need to come out in such fierce opposition to gay marriage (especially when it is rumored that she was supposed to do an interview with the national GLBT publication ‘The Advocate’ to help soften her hard-line stance with the gays, who voted 25% and 23% in 2000 and 2004, respectively, for Bush).

So what’s the sum of all of this? That “Maverick independent middle” that decides elections in this nation has been basically given the “ok” to vote for Obama, and then Palin basically goes and blows her chance on national TV to redeem herself and moves further to the extreme right on a pivotal social issue. And this all happened in one 72-hour chunk!

Please excuse me while I go get my lifejacket and flare-gun. The evacuation drill starts now.

xo,
-OxyChaz"

Actually, I have to disagree with OxyChaz on the concession. I don't believe Barack Obama will win by a landslide it will be very close. Actually, just between thee and thou I'm not convinced that he will win at all..... In fact, Armstrong Williams opines:
"It is not a foregone conclusion that this election is over, despite the media and intellectual elites’ effort to make us believe so. People are still unsure about who Sen. Barack Obama is. I find it amazing that, no matter how charismatic, charming or intellectually superior Barack is, there still remain serious questions about his experience and unapologetic, off-the-charts liberal record. I still don't see how anyone in their right mind could argue that the senator from Illinois is more experienced and prepared to lead this country than John McCain is. McCain may have many issues that plague him, but leadership, wisdom and having been in the line of fire are not among them. (Sarah Palin is another story, and is definitely hurting his chances of becoming president.)"

A Random Rant Brought To Us By Zo....

More good sense espoused by Zo. This brother is so refreshing as he actually uses his brain -- unlike the masses of the democratic plantation negroes who are heralding Barack Obama as the "great black hope" so steeped in either ignorance or victimology. Anyway, I introduce to some and present to others Zo:

Ahhh, how sweet it is to hear a humorous yet rational discourse from a black man during this election season -- I'm swooning!

Contemplations on Colin Powell's Endorsement of Barack Obama

Gov. Colin Powell has drank the Obama Kool-Aid. I have no words.

However Gov. Powell made a comment which did give me pause to consider my attitude when he said:

"I'm also troubled by, not what Senator McCain says, but what members of the party say. And it is permitted to be said such things as, "Well, you know that Mr. Obama is a Muslim." Well, the correct answer is, he is not a Muslim, he's a Christian. He's always been a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer's no, that's not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president? Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, "He's a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists." This is not the way we should be doing it in America.

He then went on to talk about young soldier Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan who gave his life for this country. I then realized that I had never considered that there are Muslim Americans who love this country and I am ashamed of myself.
Gen. Powell also mentioned that the Republican Party has gone too far to the right. This just confirms there is tolerance for everyone in the United States except followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are much despised.

Tina Fey Has Nothing On This Kid....

Check out this kid's Bill O'Reilly impersonation -- hilarious!!!

Or this one...

A little extreme and over-simplified but funny none-the-less.

Cover Me.....

When Mini-me (who will soon be 18) was younger and trying to figure out the world and why things are as they are she would so sweetly and innocently come to me for an explanation and or solution as if I had all of the answers in the world. What is so amazing is that to her I had the power to completely smooth over anything which unsettled her little spirit. I was her covering. If her teachers treated her unfairly (in her mind at least) she felt completely entitled to trot to the principals office to call her mommy. If other children were unkind to her as if under compulsion she expected me to tell her how to handle it even if it meant returning kindness for unkindness she would obediently comply—never questioning because she trusted her mommy. She was a sweet little sponge absorbing all of my love, awe and admiration of her -- she knew she was loved and was utterly secure in that. Mini-me now knows as enormous as my love for her is it doesn’t come close to the love that the Father has for her. It saddens me that as a normal consequence of growing into womanhood that she doesn't expect me to solve all of her problems anymore but such is life.

As I walked my dogs this morning (at least I'm still the center of their universe) and reflected on Mini-me’s early childhood, this song played on my Ipod I chuckled because I realized that our relationship and her dependence on me is somewhat of a metaphor for what my relationship should be with the Lord. It's so easy to get distracted and forget whose "kid" I am when I start thinking about the forces at play in our increasingly godless society. But thankfully I have an "Abba" Father to comfort me, give me peace and covers me.....

Just Because He Is....

I'm posting this video just because I need to remember to focus on the center of my life. Just indulge me I love this song:

Health Care Priorities: Check Out These Videos On Zabeth's Corner

I watched videos on Zabeth's Corners this afternoon. Check them out at:

http://zabethblog.blogspot.com/2008/10/health-priorities.html

Then consider how you really feel about heath care in this country. The grass is not always greener on the socialist, oops, I mean other side.

I Will Not Bow Down To The "God Of Racial Indignation"

My heart is heavy this hour because of the anger which I have invoked with my those closest to me because of my politics. I found a note in my Bible from Sept 2005(apparently I was in this battle at that time as well) in Gen. 12:1-3 God called Abraham out of his country, his people and his father's household because they were worshipping many gods. Well, I am certainly no Abraham, but my people are worshipping many gods as well -- one of them being the "god of racial indignation". If you are choosing a candidate just because of the color of his skin (I'm not speaking to those who feel he is the best candidate -- that's different--I supposed ignorance is bliss) because this is the first time in history you have had an opportunity to do so then you are succumbing to the sense of racial indignation you feel for past injustices. You have made it a god because you have allowed it to consume you and you will not move through the pain of the past to your future free from those mental shackles. Hmm, do you really want change or do you derive pleasure from being angry, bitter, and paranoid. I assure you white people don't give a flying fig about your inner turmoil, you appear whiny and weak. It's like the kid on the playground who cries because the other kids don't like them (yeah, I know racism exists and....). Grow up, I'm not saying forget the past but put your big girl panties on and shift your paradigm towards progression. The dems only play on your pain when they want your votes at election time. You have a right to "never forget" and continue to wallow in your ancestral pain -- but, I refuse to bow down to that god and refuse to let racial indignation commandeer my innermost parts.

What Obama Means By "Change"

On the Conserative Black Woman's Roundtable last night our discussion of the business of politics turned to Sen. Barack Obama (surprise, uh) and his political bend towards socialism and his obvious links to more than a few dubious individuals who could never be mistaken as patriots. After the show one of my friends accused me of buying in to speculation. I don't think so. Senator Obama's rhetoric is riddled with socialistic language. The problem with socialism is that while it sounds appealing on the surface, historically it has always lead to a diminishing of individual liberties. We have a right to get wealthy we are in america; we have a right to be poor if you don't want to do what it takes to be wealthy. Socialism leads to totalitarianism and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Here is a video montage which illustrates these points:

We've Got A Serious Hosea 4:6 Situation Here

Hosea 4:6 says: "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge" I am no prophet but the handwriting is on the wall. Check out this video and to see how knowledgeable Americans are...

The sad part is that when factual information is presented it is rejected because one can't let facts get in the way of HOPE and CHANGE.

So is yet another attempt to disseminate information:

Best Post I've Read This Week From TSF Protests!

This blogger @ http://tsfprotests.blogspot.com wrote the following:

"Liberals, White and Black, Are RacistsIs that a radical statement? You bet it is. But it is true. Liberals think the Black community is stupid. Liberals think the Black community is animalistic. Are these radical statements? Listen to the liberal commentators on TV set us up for a racial war if Obama loses. White and black liberal commentators have been saying all hell will break loose if he loses. Apparently, Blacks must have their way or they will riot according to these so called friends.Frankly, I find this notion appalling. But Blacks by and large do vote monolithic. Generally most Blacks, and certainly this election in particular, vote exclusively for the Democrat Party. I find this peculiar, since the Democrats have done everything in their power to keep the Black people in a powerless position. They love to give out freebies at election time, in order to buy votes, but never help their real circumstances. The capitalist economy is what has helped Blacks improve their lot in this life just as it has helped everyone else. But they keep falling for the lies of the same people that think, if they don't get their candidate elected they will act like a bunch of animals. Like they say, with friends like these Democrats, you don't need enemies. American citizens, of any color, are not as stupid as liberals suppose. -They know what Marxism is when they hear it. And they know that most Americans are not Marxist, and thoroughly reject that system of government. Obama is a Marxist to the core. If he loses, it will be because most Americans have caught on to his very specific language that only a Marxist could love. Americans love the word FREEDOM. We don't want to give it up for government imposed new 'rights'. We know the difference between products and rights. We have the right to pursue happiness. That would include, food, shelter, clothing, college tuition, health care. If these are the things that make us happy, then we'll pursue them...we'll get a job and get to work. They are not rights. They are products of happiness to pursue or not. Obama speaks the language of Marxism by promising them to one and all. But the price is too high. We will have freedom taken from us and regret it too late. -Or maybe Americans don't like the fact that Obama loves those that hate America. Like William Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, and Father Michael Pfleger. These people hate the American system and the American people. No one will deny that capitalism has problems. Every system does, because we are all sinners. But these men all think they will bring in a utopia and destroy the mean whites that prevent them. Utopia will come in the resurrection of the dead when Jesus Christ returns and not before. Until then we have to deal with each other as sinners. It would help if these radical types saw themselves as sinners instead of being so far above the rest of us hoi polloi. But they don't, and they have sought the destruction of America, and Obama is in league with them. They are a group of people that also think the average Black person is stupid, so easily duped. Anti-Americans are steeped in class envy and think it normal to manipulate the people. They love pitting groups against each other. Race baiting is ugly, whether it comes from Whites or Blacks. Obama is the only one that kept bringing up race, not John McCain or his campaign.-Or maybe Americans are not that fond of infanticide. Obama has voted for infanticide. What a guy! We are not fond of killing over a million of our citizens a year either. And a disproportionate number of those abortions are Black babies. Are the liberals still trying to create a White race? Looks that way. They put a lot of effort in to getting abortions for lower class Black women. Why Black women fall for this effort at extermination is beyond me. But Obama is all for it. And yet these same Blacks despise the Republicans. But the Republicans don't want to kill them. There is no way racism would be discussed at all with someone of the caliber of Colin Powell or Walter Williams or Robert L. Woodson or a host of other great Black leaders. Because they are respectable Americans citizens. But Obama is a dyed in the wool Marxist. America is not. Only the wealthy, whiney, left is sold to Marxism. Most of America is considered fly over territory to the elitist left. A little dumb, a little stupid. Which would explain all of that Jesus stuff. What else do we have. Oh sure a little Jim Beam, a few extra donuts and GLORY! "Let's mosey on down to Bible Study. And don't forget the shotgun, Ma. We might meet some varmints along the way and git some fixins for Sunday dinner." See we're too poor, dumb and clingy to vote for a black man. If we were smart and godless, naturally we would vote for him. So of course we must be racist for not voting for him.Does anyone really believe this when the obvious is staring us in the face? Liberalism today is racist and Marxist. And so is Obama." (emphasis added by cbw)

My Response: Yes and Amen. We need to wake up.

Faith & Reason - They Are Not Mutually Exclusive

Hank Hanegraff, President and CEO of the Christian Research Institute and host of the Bible Answer Man broadcast opined:

"Punmeister Bill Maher in his new mockumentary Religulous, contends that Christianity "stops people from thinking" and that people who hold to the authority of Scripture have nothing but "blind faith." In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. Ultimately what is blind and bigoted is the erection of an imaginary dichotomy between faith and reason.
In an age in which internet fallacies travel halfway around the world before truth has had a chance to put its boots on, it is ever more crucial to know what you believe and why you believe it." (emphasis added)

When I was in college, I was repulsed by all things religious and any person of faith because I thought that faith and reason were mutually exclusive. I basically thought that anyone who actually believed the Bible was half-witted.

However, I was a serious seeker of truth. I finally met a christian capable of explaining to me exactly what he believed and why. He was able to demonstrate to me that the Bible had to be divine rather than human in origin. Really think about this, how is it possible for forty different authors to write over a span of 1,600 years, on three continents, in three languages, on hundreds of subjects — yet, without contradiction — and with one central storyline, God’s redemption of mankind? Ok, so I know that someone is going to leave a comment asserting that the Bible does contradict itself. So in true Conservative Black Woman fashion -- BRING IT ON ..... I will have an answer!

Video: "I'm Voting Democrat"

I know another video (last one for today, I promise) but this is so funny -- Well maybe it isn't...

Some Negroes Have Lost Their Dang Minds

I just viewed this video on youtube and it's worst than I thought!!! Yeah, I've been saying that some folks think Barack is their Messiah but listen to these thesbians and musical artist describe this man.....God Help Us!!! Black pastors ya'll have work to do because your sheep are dumb they think Barack Obama can "revive their souls"--- uhhhh!!!???!!!

Check out this collaborative in lunacy (the song is a bit mesmerizing)

Obama's and the followers of his cult of personality believe the following as per the above referenced collaborative in lunacy:

OBAMA, OBAMA, OBAMA..... (sounds like praise and worship to me)

Barack Obama will give us a cleaner earth
Barack Obama will give us a better future
Barack Obama will give us a world without fear
Barack Obama will be OUR President not the president of Lobbyist (Yeah Carrie Washington said that -- I have but one word.... BAMBOOZLED)
Barack Obama will be revival for some peoples souls (Tichina Arnold had that revelation - Arnold/Washington = Dumb/Dumber)

I am so disappointed with our collective retardation. We will fall for absolutely anything! Tragic..... this won't end well.

Oh yeah, check out these poor young lads who lacked inspiration until Barack Obama (their parents need to be b*tch slapped for allowing their kids to be uninspired in 2008) what does that tell you about the pathology that is ours Black America?

So Barack Obama is the Alpha and Omega? The Beginning and the End? Do you see a problem-- not even with the politics (hey if you think he is the best man for the job, cool) but with the lack of basic rudimentary K-3 sunday school theology?

Soujourn For Truth If Indeed You Dare...

Soujourner Truth said that she would have led more slaves to freedom if they had known that they were not free. The bible says that the Truth will make you free. Yet some people do not want to hear the truth because their minds are already made up (their brains are shackled to a specific paradigm) and they refused to be confused by the FACTS -- This is defined as willful ignorance and nowhere has it been more plainly illustrated than this 2008 election. So, I will attempt to give some factual information to do with what you will....

Did John McCain vote for banking de-regulation? Google “Senate Bill s.900” or Click Here Answer : No, but JOE BIDEN DID VOTE FOR BANKING DE-REGULATION and William Jefferson Clinton signed it. (Yet, Obama and his acolytes will not share this information with you – As it might it dash your HOPE!)

Did John McCain support regulation of Fannie Mae? Google “Housing Reform Act of 2005” or
Click Here Answer: Why Yes as a matter of fact he Co-sponsored the Bill!
(Yet, Obama and his acolytes claim that the republicans started this economic crisis and housing meltdown – CHANGE uh, is that why Sen. Obama was seriously considering keeping Paulson?) oh, by the way the Democrats blocked that bill (see the video in the Audacity of Hope-crisy post)

Also google “New Agency to oversee Fannie Mae” or Click Here– What do you know Bush tried to over haul Fannie and Freddie Mac in 2003!!! This is what his opposition said:

'These two entities -- Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- are not facing any kind of financial crisis,'' said Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, the ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee. ''The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.''

Representative Melvin L. Watt, Democrat of North Carolina, agreed.

''I don't see much other than a shell game going on here, moving something from one agency to another and in the process weakening the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing,'' Mr. Watt said.

Did Barack Obama support sex education for Kindergartners? Google “SB99 Illinois” better yet let me save you the time:

http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/fulltext.asp?DocName=&SessionId=3&GA=93&DocTypeId=SB&DocNum=0099&GAID=3&LegID=734
Answer: Yes, he does! So as you see “shall include instruction on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, including the prevention, transmission and spread of HIV” –WHAT? How is that age appropriate Sen. Obama?

Do Barack Obama and his running mate Joe Biden really care about the middle and under class? Well, lets see google “Joe Biden Charitable donations or
Click Here Now google Barack Obama Charitable Donations or Click Here (Not quite as bad as Biden – but da-yam didn’t they tithe to Trinity United being that they were 20 year members?)

Sidenote: John McCain give 26% of his income to charity.

Is Barack Obama really a candidate for the people? Google “Barack Obama’s Top Contributors” or
Click Here Answer: Emphatically NO!!! Barack Obama has been bought and paid for by investment firms and lawyers.

Google "Barack Obama lawyers and lobbyists" or Click Here lobbyist love Barack Obama too and here's why:

Obama, on his Web site, has listed every earmark he's requested – but not necessarily received – since he came to the Senate in January 2005. The total, including earmarks in which he joined with other senators in making the request, is $931.3-million. Since he took office in January 2005, Obama has been a senator for about 930 working days, defined as Monday through Friday. That's right about $1-million per working day, though we do realize McCain didn't say 'working day' in his speech the way he did in the mailer” - Source

That’s about $ 1 million per day!!!! (Still think he is the people's candidate?– pah-leez!!!)

“They want to raise taxes on savings and investments, meaning the people with money will not save money. Our savings rate is near zero. One man’s savings is another man’s mortgage! So how will we get a decent Mortgage if people stop saving ? We can’t. This isn’t voodoo economics it is assisted suicide and they are our economic dream team – The Mouthpeace

What A Team, uh?

(Makes me all goose-pippley thinking of the "Change")

Does John McCain really vote with Bush 90% of the time? Google this “McCain Bush Vote Count whole story? Or Click Here Answer: Emphatically NO. Let me reiterate:
So what about Obama? In 2006, the last year he was present for at least 95 percent of the votes on issues in which Bush took a clear position, Obama voted with the president nearly half the time. (His total Bush presidential agreement tally is 40 percent.)
Here’s another twist. According to WashingtonPost.com, since 2000, McCain has voted with a majority of his fellow Senate Republicans an average of 82 percent of the time. That’s only slightly less than the average for all Republican senators, who toed the party line almost 87 percent of the time in the same period. Meanwhile, Obama voted with a majority of Senate Democrats more than 95 percent of the time in both of his congressional sessions, while the average for Democratic senators was 87 percent. (Yeah, that’s change for ya! Barack Obama has voted 95% of the time with the most unpopular congress of all time!)

So, here are but a few facts and I have only just scratched the surface! I admonish you my friends to do some research of your own and please do share with me. Comments are not moderated -- full disclosure and transparency here folks.

Main Street Casualties of the Prosperity Gospel

This is an interesting article by Paul Raushenbush (Check it out)

Quote of The Week

"Facts don't matter much politically if they are not reported.
The media alone are not alone in keeping the facts from the public. Republicans, for reasons unknown, don't seem to know what it is to counter-attack. They deserve to lose.
But the country does not deserve to be put in the hands of a glib and cocky know-it-all, who has accomplished absolutely nothing beyond the advancement of his own career with rhetoric, and who has for years allied himself with a succession of people who have openly expressed their hatred of America. One Dream, One Secret, One Choice..... Do The Right Thing

The correlation between abortion and racism is rarely if ever discussed but volumes of historical evidence exist to support the fact that Pro-Choice is legalized genocide cleverly disguised as a woman’s right to choose. Consider this, according to the Alan Guttmacher Institute, black women are more than three times as likely as white women to have an abortion. The Family Research Council says that African Americans represent 12 percent of the population but suffer 36 percent of the abortions in America and 78% of abortuaries are in black communities. The Culture of Life Foundation & Institute adds that more than 1,452 black children are aborted every day. Since Roe v. Wade, that makes about 15 million African Americans removed from the population who can never make any contribution to their race or their country. We are the only minority that is shrinking!!! Don’t believe me check out: (Countdown to Extinction) or this:(Abortion VS. Historical Genocide) Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood and leader of the early 20th century eugenics movement in the United States. Eugenics is the study of heredity improvement by genetic control. Sanger devoted much of her life to the development of a white master race of human beings. She routinely referred to those who didn't fit her dream, specifically “Negroes”, as "unfit", "irresponsible" and "reckless. Sanger also sponsored the “Negro Project” which advocated abortion, forced sterilization and even killing babies after birth for persons of color this is what she had to say: "We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." – Margaret Sanger (Source)
Sanger's approach, using mass murder as a tool to address social ills including poverty or lack of education, was so cleverly disguised, that in 1966 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. accepted Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger Award. Personally, I am completely turned off by conspiracy theories but numbers don’t lie. Even if there is no “masterplan” to get rid of black folks the de facto result is that our population is not replenishing itself. But even beyond that abortion is murder
(Need Proof -- Warning Graphic Material) or this (Partial Birth Abortion- Demo) The fallacy that a woman should have a right to choose murder is a contention straight from the bowels of hell. With that flawed line of thinking one could say I have a right to choose to do any multitude of heinous acts and you have no right to impose your beliefs on me!!! Anyway, I am questioning why Barack Obama voted four times against protection for infants that survive late term abortion on a state level when Congress unanimously supported such protection?(Check this out). Basically, not only does he support abortion he supports infanticide-- and we are so hungry for "change" that we will look the other way. Well, I leave you with this:

Sarah Palin Debate Flow Chart

I found this on Huffington Post and couldn't resist the temptation to post it because let's face it-- It's freakin' hilarious.... But, Sarah I'm still yet holding on for you -- we are going to get through this bygolly!

Sarah, Sarah, Sarah.....

I have to watch last night's debate again on TiVo to get a better grasp on my gut feeling here, but I have to say that I was disappointed that Joe Biden did as well as he did and disappointed because Sarah Palin did not live up to my expectations. Prior to the debate I felt that the media had treated her unfairly (well, I still feel that way) but I wanted her to prove them wrong last night. I wanted her to shine intellectually but she came off as a hokey, folksy, PTA/Hockeymom. Not that I'm against middleclass soccer moms but I thought that the media and dems were underestimating her "brainpower" but now I'm not so sure...(that's was painful to write--ouch!!!. She seemed to me overcoached, her that whole "folksy" demeanor just pisses me off (ya'll know I'm uppity!!!). She kept moving the debate back to her "sweet spots" rather than dealing with the question put before her and that was a mistake at this stage of the game. Well, Tina Fey will have alot to work with tomorrow night.

But that being said Joe Biden told mad lies last night regarding the relative costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He falsely stated that we spend more in 3 weeks in Iraq than we have invested during the duration of the Afghan war-- Wrong! I will not bore you with statistics because honestly we have spent too much but you can get the real figures here....http://www.armscontrolcenter.org/

The Audacity of Hope-o-crisy...An Explanation of Our Economic Crisis

This video explains in detail our current economic crisis. However, for those of you who do not have 10 mins. and 51 seconds, suffer from ADD or just can't endure the accompanying music, I have summarized for you at the bottom of this post:

Here is the breakdown for you like a fraction:

1. The current economic crisis was caused by the housing bubble.
2. The housing bubble was caused by subprime mortgages to low income and bad credit borrowers.
3. Jimmy Carter and the democrats passed the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) which gave incentives to banks to help low income borrowers get a home. (That was a good thing)
4. In 1995 the Clinton Administration added new provisions to the CRA which forced banks to offer $1 trillion (I don't even know how many zeros that is!!!) in new subprime loans and created subprime mortgage backed securities or face severe penalties thus forcing neighborhood banks into predatory lending (Why? Because they focused on low income bad credit types)
5. Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac (Government Sponsored Enterprise - GSE) added fuel to the fire by guaranteeing these loans (oh, boy!) bundling and selling on Wall St. (pretty darn profitable).
6. More mortgages meant more money for Fannie & Freddie so they wanted to increase the number of mortgages (greed) but how? They lowered the bar... moved down the income scale with "affordable mortgages" in the form of Variable rate, interest only, option arm, stated income, no money down loans.
7. Bustling activity in the housing market with the influx of new buyers (who would not have normally qualified) more demand than availability forcing prices to skyrocket (remember, Econ 101 law of supply & demand)

8. Then the variable rate loans reset and interest rate increased, gas prices shot up (because America is addicted to foreign oil), paychecks are squeezed and people stop paying, banks stop lending, subprime market collapses, foreclosures pile up, no buyers (remember subprime is dead) only seller, housing prices fall, more buyers stop paying (because they realize that their loan is upside down and it's cheaper to rent).
9. Fannie's guarantee is worthless, why -- because they overstated their assets!!! (These criminals to be discussed later)
10. Banks closed due to worthless gov't backed securities, jobs are lost and here we are.
11. Why is the expansion of the CRA to blame? Because prior to CRA expansion (Clinton Admin) home prices increased with inflation afterwards home prices became unhinged from inflation (see #7) causing housing prices to rise too fast and reckless speculation. A bubble waiting to burst.....
12. This could have been avoided in fact in 2003 Pres. Bush tried to stop it and the dems blocked him and in 2005 Sen. McCain co-sponsored a bill (The Housing Enterprise Regulatory Act of 2005) which would have stopped it but the dems blocked that too. Who? Barney Frank (D-MA) and Melvin Watt (D-NC) to name a few.

But I know the naysayers don't believe me so I can't resist showing you the proof:

13. See, Fannie had friends in the Senate -- Chris Dodd (received sweet heart loan from Countrywide), and Barack Obama.

14. Jim Johnson who just happened to be the CEO of Fannie when CRA was expanded, improperly deferred $200 million in expenses and Fannie Mae under-reported his compensation originally reported at $6-7 million but was actually $21 million (avarice and corruption at it's best) oh, this is the guy that Barack Obama chose to pick his VP and he gave Obama the maximum donation of $4600. He now works for Goldman Sachs which gave Barack Obama $700,000 and raised another $500,000 through bundling (It pays to have corrupt friends doesn't it?)
15. Barack Obama has another friend Franklin Reines who he receives housing advise from who also happened to be the Vice Chairman of Fannie when CRA was expanded (Do you smell something rancid here?) Reines also received a sweet heart loan and resigned from Fannie due to accounting irregularities with a $25 million dollar golden parachute.
16. Barack Obama received more campaign money in just 3 years than John Kerry did in 20 years from Fannie & Freddie. He received 49 times more than John McCain. (Would you like to take a guess why? I guess calling for more regulation doesn't pay, huh)
17. Barack Obama also worked for Miner, Barnhill & Galland which sued banks (CitiBank being one of them) for not issuing enough subprime loans.
18.Neither poor people, the free-market, or deregulation caused this. A bad government regulation caused this, self-interested lawyers caused this, greed and stupidity on wall street caused this, and bad social engineering caused this creating an environment and the wrong incentive (CRA) which forced banks into predatory lending and set low income families up for failure. That's not hope and that's not change that's cruelty.

Barack Obama's friends caused this; the political philosophy to which he ascribes caused this. He has the audacity to lecture the country on failed economic policies! This is not change it is more of the same. It is hypocrisy -- It is hope-o-crisy!
